Too bad they hid Tank from Loma when the fight would have mattered. Tank was coming off of his career best win when he stopped Pedraza and took Pedraza's belt. Waiting until Loma is aged a few more years is weak sauce.

Loma was 2 weight classes above Rigo, Walters was one of my favorite fighters because he is Jamaican as am I, he was a 126 lber, Loma, when he did fight at 126, which was only a short time, was a weight bully. After he fought those fights, name an elite fighter that he fought at 130 and 135 , its easy to Google, besides Teo, who he lost to. You are quick to try and diminish my responses, but the facts are none of these top fighters have faced competition that distinguishes themselves from each other.

As a matter of fact, after the loss to Loma, he moved back down to 126 to challenge for the WBO title and lost. But, continue to hold onto your "facts" of him being an elite 130 lber.

He could fight Ryan Garcia next. He's being protected.
What about before the Barrios fight? Loma and Tank have been circling each other for years but I only see one side taking the heat for the fight not happening. One sides liked by the media so the other one catches all the shade. Never mind what the truth is.

Look it up Bro - You were dead wrong about Walters(had already fought Sosa at 130) and Grj moving up(for a payday)to fight Loma…just cant admit it! And to call Loma a weight bully…how ridiculous and absurd.Other than Rigo, nobody has moved up to fight him. He is the smallest fighter at 135…and other than Rigo..has been the smaller fighter throughout his career. Hilarious statement.

Teo, Rigo, Grj, Walters…Former champion Salido in his second pro fight. Makes Davis resume look even worse.

Salido lost so many fights that at the end he was considered a gatekeeper, as I stated before, Rigo fought him at 2 divisions above his weight class, Walters was a natural 126lber, and GRJ was always 126. Right now, you are just arguing as a fanatic Loma lover. The question remains, outside of Teo, who beat him, who were his "elite" opponents at 135 or even 130? Ain't no fun, when the rabbit got the gun. Same caliber competition as Tank and all the rest. Tank would get destroyed for beating on 126 and 122 lbers, but somehow this builds on Loma's average resume. The one time that he stepped up his competition, he lost. And he also lost to a a gatekeeper, just imagine if Tank lost to Salido.

Signing with Floyd lets him say he wants the top guys while knowing damn well he will never have to fight them.
I'm not gonna criticize Davis for choosing the best deal available, but this is identical to Crawford and his career with TR. From a fan perspective, both have decided not to prioritize the pursuit of legacy fights

I agree that his handlers have definitely not capitalized on the return, legacy wise, that he should go after. But keep in mind, he's 27, just entering his prime, and now that he is a PPV draw, there are the best fights to pursue at the greatest profitability, both in terms of money and respect.

I did look it up, Walters had been a 126lber his entire career until 2012. He beat Prescott for a 126 pound championship and Donaire for another 126 championship. He moved up to 130 and had a draw with Sosa and lost to Loma, then moved back down, and LOST. He has been inactive since. I can't believe the amount of fandom you have to prove such wrong points.
