The close score cards actually reflected what happened this time. Last fight was not close at all. Kudo to Joshua for improvement, but that cringe speach(?) at the end didn’t help his image. Just when he was garnering my respect he goes and does that.

Stamina issues again from Joshua. All that extra mass will never benefit him, but that’s how he’s built, so he has to deal with it. He shot his load after the 9th rd, he was basically done and it showed.

All that extra muscle mass requires a lot of OXYGEN!

Canelo has the same issues, but to a lesser degree because he doesn’t have as much MASS as Joshua.

Fury has been pretty darn judged. After he beat Wlad, a lot of the UK, rightly or wrongly rejected him.

Then, when he obliterated Wilder, a few months later the twitter/youtube mob denigrated his accomplishment with absurd allegations of cheating. Fury without question gets held to unfair standards.

Wlad/Fury was one of the most boring fights I've ever seen. Fury won, fair play to him. However, Fury completely imploded afterwards (drug use, obesity, failing a drug test) and Wlad wasn't given an opportunity to recapture the titles he held for so long. I think Fury couldn't handle the pressure that comes with sitting on the throne, and I think that's why he's playing the "retirement" game right now. Fortunately, he defended his title this time around.

As for the Glovegate conspiracy, it was propigated by Wilder fanboys on social media...nothing to be taken seriously.

Look at what happened to Ruiz when it was his time to wear the crown...he self-sabotaged just like Fury. Joshua understands the pressure and has been trying to hold it together, but he's beginning to come apart at the seams. Usyk winning was a blessing in disguise for him.

You are correct. I think more than anything tho, Usyk was backing him up, and he was countering well. As the bigger man, it was impairitive that AJ got off first and stood his ground.

He did do a much better job of it this time around. And he was even cutting off the ring at points in the fight! What a concept! He worked the body much better, and just generally looked much more confident in his own abilities. It just wasn't enough. Usyk is simply the better man.

And that little hissy fit he threw after the fight was pathetic, and completely disrespectful toward Usyk.

If he keeps Robert Garcia around, it's QUITE possible that we haven't seen the best AJ yet.

Last thing that matters is who Joshua fights next - if anyone. He has 2 straight clear defeats. He needs psychiatric help. And a management team that actually cares for his well being rather than lining their pockets

You are right about the pressure, Joshua has been under big pressure. And you must be honest?

He has been the most heavily criticized boxer pretty much in the sport. Right from the start. But that is what happens when you win the Olympic Gold Medal.

Tyson Fury is not held to the same standards as Joshua. Inside the ring, or outside the ring. Not today, or at any point in his career 'And he won't be in the future'.

Usyk is crazy skillful. The scores were waaaay too close and I can't believe the one judge had AJ. Wtf was he watching?? That said, if Fury wasn't such a fat f**K, Usyk would box his brains out. The only reason Fury wins that fight is because Usyk is waaay too small and the size advantage Fury will have will be too much.
