Joseph Parker is pretty much taking on the most avoided Heavyweight in the game.
It must be a daunting task for any Heavyweight. Knowing that you are up against a 6"6 260 + pound Heavyweight, with elite durability who has inflicted serious injuries on his opponents.
Out of the current Heavyweight contenders, only really Fury, Joshua, Usyk would be better wins on anyone's record.
Parker's recent run of fights is underrated. You would think, he would go the same way as David Tua.
But Parker has seemingly got in a good grove with Andy Lee, and being around Tyson Fury has effected him positively.
Just the way he is bantering with his opponents and having a good time. I think this is down to the influence of 'The Fury's'.

Andy Lee is letting Parker be a Samoan and not draining him down to 230 skinnyfat like Kevin Barry did.
Parker was 251lbs vs Chisora and he looked thicker set than Joyce at the face off today, he will not be overawed by Joyce having a couple of inches of height and a couple of pounds on him, he's a ******** Samoan, he's not going to get pushed around like a skinny Bryant Jennings.
Joyce is stepping up several levels here, and I think Parker may retire him
At 37 years old coming off a one sided beat down, where does Joyce go really.

Who has Joyce taken shots off? Dubois... Er Takam and Bryan.
Parker has taken shots off Joshua, Whyte, Ruiz and never really looked in any trouble, the Whyte fight being kind of a blip because he concussed Parker with a hammerhead style headbutt.
Great fight anyway! I thought Dubois would beat slow-as-molasses Joyce, but everyone says he's slow but he keeps finding a way to win. I'm not sure Parker hits THAT hard, decent puncher though. I could see Parker getting damaged round by round and Joyce coming forward like the unstoppable force and seemingly ok but really suffering accumulative concussion so that suddenly and shockingly Parker scores a late rounds KO with a flush punch.

Perspective
Parker has been in with AJ, Whyte, Ruiz, Chisora x2
I see the fight similar as you, Joyce hasn't really done anything and we all know his many flaws.
Eating punches won't work all night vs Parker and I don't think his very amateur jab game that befuddled Novice Dubois will be enough either.SteveM likes this.

The ease in which both Takam and Hammer were nailing him with overhand rights was beyond alarming. And neither guy can really punch, now Parker is fighting at a reasonable weight it doesn't bode well for Joyce the difference in speed and talent is quite jarring then you have the gap in experience on top of that personally can't see it going any other way then a Parker win.
My issue with Parker is he's never really had the aggression needed especially when he's got someone in trouble, if he ever gets Joyce in any kind of bad situation he needs to be on him like white on rice.
