Buatsi would be a waste of time. Just get that Ramirez mandatory out of the way and then unify. I like Eddie Hearn but it seems like he’s going out of his way to inconvenience Dmitry Bivol. Both Bivol and Beterbiev want undisputed, both promoters are mucking up the fight we all want to see.

Nobody but Hearn cares about Buatsi. If I understand correctly, Bivol must fight Zurdo next or drop the belt.

Canelo fights GGG next. Even if Canelo loses to GGG and Bivol loses to Ramirez, Canelo can get his Bivol fight, if he wants to. Canelo is still the cash cow, he gets the fight he wants.

Only hearn knows what the hell has Buatsi to do with Bivol - Canelo debates.

Yes Bivol must fight Ramirez next UNLESS he applies for, and is granted, an exemption.

A couple of things with that though.

Hearn is talking about applying for this exemption however I don't think he has the authority to do that as he isn't Bivol or his manager.

Also, how long has it been between mandatory defences for Bivol? I think an exemption us unlikely unless it was for a unification - which is apparently what Bivol wants but Hearn has no intention of pursuing!

And you're right, only Hearn knows what Buatsi has to do with a Bivol - Ramirez - canelo (and even Beterbiev) discussion!

              Thanks.

Ramirez is ranked #1, Buatsi is ranked #2.

I see no good reason for there to be an exemption just so that Buatsi can jump in line ahead of Ramirez. "We already made plans" is not a valid excuse.

Hearn is trying to milk a Canelo-Ryder fight as the third fight of his current deal with Canelo - and then sign a new deal with Canelo that includes the Bivol rematch in summer/fall 2023. That will suit Canelo just fine, because he can avoid people like Charlo and Benavidez for pretty
                  much another year.

Why do you put Charlo in the same sentence as Bivol? Charlo struggles in every fight against Target employees. Korabov beat him convincingly. Imagine what Bivol will do. Some of you guys have no common sense.

Ok so now it’s official, it wasn’t just concerning olawufemi. Hearn has a way of treating fighters who beat his cash cows as second class citizens at matchroom. Usyk is treated like that now that he has beaten olawufemi. Usyk isn’t at all treated or spoken about as if he is the legitimate world champion and now bivol is being treated the same way as if he needs to work his way back to a fight with Canelo, as if Canelo beat him. Both Usyk and bivol should sever all ties after their next fights or their contracts fulfilled because how these lads are being treated is shameful.
