'We have the money to get Thurman'...like he had the money to take over US boxing? Check your wallet again you may have miscounted.

Hearn says 'we've mentioned that we want that fight' which means they haven't sent an offer or even tried to open negotiations or else he would've worded it that way. Just empty name-dropping.

Hearn is name-dropping Thurman because PBC doesn’t work with him and the fight is not a possibility. He’s making it sound like, to the public and to Benn, that he’s on the verge of delivering a big fight.

He’s not. There is no fight in negotiation.

Hearn recently said Jose Ramirez was also in negotiation for Benn. He wasn’t. There was zero possibility Ramirez was moving up, let alone moving up and Top Rank sending him to DAZN.

          This is marketing.

If Benn wants to fight the fighters in PBC stable - he’ll sign with PBC. If he wants to fight fighters in Top Ranks stable - he’ll sign with Top Rank. That’s reality.

I love how you ignored all the facts I stated.

We already know this fight isnt happening for the reasons I already gave. Haymon wouldn't allow it regardless. Hearn could offer Keith 10 million and haymon would advise him not to take it. Because he no longer works for his fighters. His fighters now work for him because every fight he makes under pbc banner is haymon manged fighter vs haymon managed fighter. Haymon can lowball without negotiation because he has both fighters and would be negotiating against his self. This is why his fighters get a set guarantee purse.

We just watched Haney make double the money as a B side for his undisputed fight than jermell made as a A side for his undisputed fight. You know why? Because haymon managed both guys. Arum can make in house fights but his fighters have different managers who actually negotiate in the interest of there fighters. Which is why arum loses fights to purse bids occasionally.

Hearn offered mikey garcia 7 million for a Jessie vargas fight on dazn while mikey was with al haymon. What did mikey do? He left al and went and got the money. That's why he retired early. He made in one fight what would have took him 5 to 7 fights to make.

Thurman fighting benn on pbc is worth less than Thurman fighting benn on dazn because Dazn will overpay. Pbc won't. And if you're Thurman you want the biggest purse possible. The hell with the network it's on. Epecially when you don't have an exclusive network deal as a fighter and you don't have a promoter

Thurman doesnt have a promoter which is why hearn is mentioning thurman's name hoping thurman is willing to walk away from those 1 million dollar purses at pbc for quadroouple that on dazn. Which if haymon truly had thurman's financial interest at heart he would be telling Thurman to take that money.

I'm not hating on Benn, just analyzing his development. Granados out boxed him, Algeri was out of his depth, and just because Boots KOd Vanjeerden doesn't mean Van was some sort of litmus test for Benn. Thurman is a step up, but frail, he lumps up easy. If Benn gets home town license, he might maul Keith.

Haymon is a manager not a promoter and his job as manager is to get you the biggest purse possible.

But instead he advises his fighters to pass up bigger money just to stay with pbc. He advised charlo to turn down 7 million for 1 fight on dazn against Andrade only for him to turn around and fight for 1 million dollars on showtime. That's bad business

He advised broner to turn down a 5 fight ppv deal with roc nation worth a minimum of 40 million. Meanwhile cotto and ward took roc nation deals got paid and retired. Meanwhile broner still hasnt made the 40 million at pbc that he passed up. And now he can barely get on the schedule. Pbc dudes are just letting money slip by being caught up in the pbc ponzi scheme
And he also didn't let Wilder make 100+ mil against Joshua.

Vargas was signed to Matchroom. Garcia was a promotional free agent. Jacobs? Yeah he signed to Matchroom lol. Dervy was fighting for a vacant title and his side didn't win the purse bid. They didn't go there voluntarily. So I've just shot down 4 of your 5 examples G. I can't with Ruiz example. This is a rare one. But its obvious why he was allowed to. PBC only just signed him and had nothing to lose. It was an opportunity to try to get the other 3 titles in the premier division. Also after it was exposed how bad it was that they knocked it back for Ortiz, it would have been a bad look to do the same for Ruiz. And in that division it was the biggest payday around. So it was a no brainer. That said it was a no brainer for both Ortiz and Wilder, but they prevented those. You need to look harder for better examples. But I'll save you time mate. Don't bother. Their not there. Lol.
