Canelo is going to retire Golovkin

Fight is pointless other then a money grab for both. Golovkin has no chance, Canelo will be the bigger puncher, faster, stronger and higher IQ

GGG is a heavy handed slugger. He will always have a shot.

Golovkin is too old, his hand speed and reflexes are shot. When Golovkin was 30-35 he beats every version of Canelo and I like Canelo.

I think GGG will learn from Bivol's win over Ginger ... I also think that if he sticks to the game plan of the first fight (which he actually won) the outcome will be the same as it should have been ... GGG by SD, because, you know, bias (see Bivol fight) ... A legacy win before calling it a day ...

Canelo's only advantages over GGG, even at 40, are hand speed and reflexes. He's not physically stronger, has never been the bigger puncher and he's never demonstrated himself to have a superior fight IQ than GGG (quite the opposite). I like Canelo, but he got outfought twice by a much older man, and its possible that happens again. I don't see a KO by either guy. GGG has never been KO'd and never even floored in 40 pro fights and 350 amateur fights. If he gets stopped in this upcoming fight it will be because some amateur ref thinks he's old and can't take a punch. GGG is the most disrespected champion on this site, but knowledgeable fans know he's special. Not sure who wins this next one, but it will be the best fight of the trilogy.

As much as i like GGG i can't see him winning this fight. Canelo got schooled by Bivol but he's still a beast at 168 and old Golovkin moving up weight will probably be stopped this time

Nelo beats any version of little G.

So you think GGG can replicate what he did nearly 5 years ago at a higher weight to a better version of Canelo?

There's nothing for him to take from Bivol because he doesn't have the same dimensions nor physical attributes. Especially the feet.

Do people really not see Golovkin and his new body and strength? If he was like this vs Derevyanchenko he would’ve won that fight via KO, since the only thing stopping Golovkin from ending Derevyanchenko in that fight was his endurance.

I do think Golovkin’s chances would’ve been better if he caught the complacent Canelo getting casual off beating hypejobs. He’s on alert again. Also the more Canelo weighs the less he throws, which only lets the old man recuperate. So 168 should be an advantage to Golovkin.
