I can't honestly stop getting a kick out of how much a 23 year upsets so many of you.

      Yeah: too.

18, 23, 39, 50 years olds wind up boxing fans on NSB. Literally…that’s what NSB is for. To praise or talk sh/t about professional boxers. Since its inception in 2002-ish.

From 25 year old Mayweather, to 19 year old Canelo. This is all this website is for. Reading boxing news, and praising or critiquing fighters.

Just a newsflash for you if you did not know where you’re at.

Also, Devin Haney sucks at 23 year old and will suck at 33 as well. Nobody cares about his age. Boxing fans are critiquing his performances.

Lol thanks for the heads up. I'll still be seeing some of the same people trying to hype up near 30 year olds for a couple solid wins and be the same crying about Haney. That's not you in particular, just saying this place is a trip sometimes.

Obviously Valdez contributed to their rating they did but Stevenson isn't going to all of a sudden fall off in his next fight to like 500k viewers or anything.
Ahh he pulled the old “only Mexicans can draw viewers and fill stadiums” fallacy lol. Oh dear, that lie had been smashed to bits lately but I guess the casuals have to hold on to something….

It just does not make sense comparing the linear viewership in 2022 to 2017 or 2018. Like I mentioned earlier, the way people watch things has evolved.
Don't expect the guy you quoted to understand this point, he is a bitter b**** and complete idiot

This is a really good post and almost all of it true to the T. I was a teenager when I joined here!

That's also what makes being a boxing fan more exciting. But, if the members pay close attention, everyone is contributing something. We are all interested in different aspects of boxing and fighters. So, almost everyone brings something to the table. Of course, we have our useless trolls as well. We are not just hating for nothing. For me, there's a limit to the amount of 'slickness' I can take.

What I really don't like on here is members attacking each other and holding grudges over the years for nothing really. Get over it and move on.

I went after Loma on here a few years ago. I still think my views were justified, because he attracted white racist Euros and Americans. Most of them are missing in action, created another account, or left the site now. They bashed everything Afro American boxing while hyping him to the roof.

                Have your time!

Kev, I meant around the time you joined (2002), I was a teenager.
I had another ID. Just to clarify I'm not that young.

Ever since I started posting here, either praising fighters, or talking sh/t about them, I have always been quoted by someone with some insult towards me because I talked bad about their favorite or I praised a fighter they hate.

I am okay with quoting and being quoted to discuss a fighter or fighters, or a situation. But yeah, at this point I am used to way more than that lol. I know if I see 5 messages of some posters quoting me, I expect 3-4 of those to be someone dissing my mother or something like that. All because I don’t like one of their favorite fighters.

I also expect to be called either a “*** member” or a “White Supremacist” depending on the poster. When I first started it was always Ngg** (the bad one). Now they adapted to the bannings and the cutting down on racism and they use the “*** crew”. And of course, because I also praise some white fighters and don’t like 2-3 black fighters, I am now a dual ***-White Supremacist.

The nature of NSB I guess.

People who are sending you crappy messages I don't understand.
They should stop getting too personal with others, negatively.

                    Cheers man.

ESPN+'s subscribers have gone up big time and I am sure close to half watched this fight on the app.

These are very good numbers with no big lead-in that often times skew numbers.
Lomachenko last fight did almost similar numbers
