Looking at the weighin pics from the first fight he don't look any different.

Nonito usually looks bad at the weigh in then rehydrates and seems fine come fight night.

Doesn't help that this is the ****tiest possible photograph in existence for 2022.

I'm not sure what to make of this comment, because the same can be said in favor of Donaire, and his being one of the best boxers too (achievements in multiple divisions), even if he doesn't have the same dominant record as Inoue does in one division.

And if Inoue is indeed part of the next generation, he has plenty of time to be recognized as an ATG. Donaire is in the twilight of his career, and a win against Inoue (followed by retirement) would help/reward Donaire much more than it will hurt the younger Inoue.

I don't know.... Maybe I'm just a fan of old-timers and I can't not root for them.

These two are fantastic fighters, Inoue perhaps a bit more so. But Donaire has had a stellar career, his only disappointing performance I remember was against Rigondeaux.

If these two guys were at a heavier weight they'd be more celebrated, that's how it is with the media when it comes to boxing.
