#1 - Mayweather Promotions is the lead promoter for this fight.

I challenge anyone to find in a documanted statement from MP that this fight was at 144lbs. From day-one they always stated that this was a WW fight.

#2 - JMM & his team accepted all the terms of the old contract and the new, so he, more than anyone, knew what was going on. It was just a matter of how much Floyd was going to weigh below the WW limit of 147lbs.
