Yeah it’s Nathan Quarless vs Michael Webster. Quarless was a decent amateur, he was a 2x ABA semi finalist out of Salisbury ABC. Never seen his opponent before but nice to see two undefeated kids putting their 0’s on the line.

Heard Shalom say Parker announcement coming soon that ‘the fans will be happy with’. Seems like it could be Wallin? Any chance at all it’s Whyte II? He mentioned Hunter-Fury being rescheduled so I don’t think it’s Hunter.

Anything on Matchroom schedule for the fall?

Anything on the Joyce undercard (or indeed his opponent) for 24th September - beyond Denzel Bentley on the card?

I got nothing tbh mate. News is really slow in British boxing atm. The September-onwards schedule across all 3/4 platforms is really disappointing thus far.

My guess would be Parker-Wallin and Fury-Whyte. Parker-Wallin will have to be a co-main for something else though cause there’s no way that fight draws any money in the UK. I do expect Sky to be the platform that signs Whyte too. I think it’s a straight shootout between them and DAZN, I can’t see BT paying enough.

Very true re: scheduling, output is shocking at the minute. What’s the Sky card that will get Parker-Wallin as co main though - can’t see any real headliners they’ve got, possibly Smith-Andrade or Smith in a title eliminator at 154 in late November/December?

Fury-Whyte? Hughie? Suppose it’s an intriguing one and there’s a few angles they can use

You guys don't have enough talent for 3 major platforms. America doesn't really either. Boxing is spread too thin.

Yeah it’s damaging the sport over here at the moment. If they worked together it’d be fine but they’re all petty as f***.

They're petty everywhere. The best thing would be for some of these guys to fail.

Yeah that’s a good point tbf. Sky are probably banking on signing Whyte I reckon. Without Eubank Jr I don’t really see any legitimate headliners.

Whyte-Parker II is the fight they’ll target I reckon.

DAZN is the most likely I reckon- it’s already failing tbh. I could maybe see BT pulling the plug on boxing post Fury tbh. Sky are pretty much untouchable over here.

Agree with this, while people may oppose certain promoters having an effective duopoly (pre-DAZN Hearn on Sky and Warren on BT) the quality of undercards on shows tend to be far better where this is the case.

Also compounded with the fact that there are some good fighters who’d be boosting cards contractually tied to Probellum as far as I’m aware? (two top fighters at 140 in Prograis/Catterall and Ritson who’s a big domestic name at the weight, for instance)
