Charlo would put up a much better fight than the shot, plodding, dull-witted yet still dangerous Lemieux. Better at picking his shots, better at moving, better finally at surviving.

Canelo is another story. He can’t be ruled out, even though age, height, reach and output would all favor Benavidez. Watching how Benavidez threw into the storm of Lemieux’s huge punches gives us some clue: he would punch with Canelo, which Canelo hasn’t faced since GGG. Even Bivol treated his attacks with great caution. Benavidez is too big and stationary to get out of the way in time. His style relies on output, which is why it’s so damn fun to watch.

The shame is we’ll likely never see these fights. Boxing is beautiful, but the business of boxing today is ****ing awful.

I'm sure Charlo will find another excuse not to face Benavides, But excuses are running out, he's draining himself to make 160, eventually he will have no choice but to move up. Plant is enjoying the fruits from the Canelo fight, so we will see what happens with him, but he's in no hurry, and Morel, he's the less ready from all of these guys, should stay away for at least another year.

So Charlo is draining himself to stay at 160 but Benavidez who looks like cruiserweight isn't draining himself to weight bully fighters instead of moving up to LH

The others, well, if the principles (Charlo, Plant, Andrade, Canelo, etc) haven't asked for Benavidez, no chance in hell of Business moving forward.

David Morrell is already on record stating that he wants to fight him. Even though he only has six fights. It's safe to say that Morrell needs more experience.

Morrell seems a lot more ready for the challenge than Caleb Plant or Charlo. He may not have the pro experience yet, but he's clearly got great skills and, most importantly, the belief in himself to contend with and beat a guy like Benavidez. The other guys do not have the same confidence as Morrell.

Saunders played keep away and slicked Lemule. Benevidez took him out. No comparison. I think,, Charlo and Andrade have better defense, Boo Boo too much, but less power than Lemule. Morrell claims he has it all, give it to him. No matter what Saunders did, Morrell saw it, and he still filled his mouth.
