All fighter at the mid-to- top level have a cherry pick in there. It's apart of boxing.

Elite fighters? Like who? Jacobs? At the height of his career, Jacobs was a B/B- fighter, so are Lara and GGG.
Who are the elites you speak of? I don't consider even Canelo himself 'elite.'

What's Canelo's career defining fight? There isn't one. Canelo's defining fight is a loss to Floyd.

Elites are in a special category of their own. You'll know when you see one.
I like how one guy described Bivol as 'genetic."
Exactly, this is why I said if Bivol was the same weight as Bud Crawford or Shakur, nobody would pick Bivol to win,

Canelo doesn't have a win like Bivol does over Canelo. Bud over Postol/Porter. Usyk over Joshua. Shakur over Valdez. Or even a win like Tank had over Barrios.

            50/50...

I'd choose him against this version of Bud & Boo Boo. Stevenson would very special, at any weigh class.
Styles make fights and anyone who analyzes all of their styles knew that Plant/BJS/Smith were zero threat to Canelo but that Bivol was.

Maybe it's 50/50, but I still favor Beterbiev. People sleep hard on his skills. The jab, footwork and constant pressure would be an absolute nightmare for Bivol or anyone IMO.

Boo Boo is a very special fighter. It's not his fault he has been denied opportunity after opportunity to compete with the best. It's a true black eye to the sport of boxing the way they've treated that man.

So even if he fought 1 elite fighter (GGG as you proclaim), that's still a elite fighter.
              Yes, one, and that's Floyd.

Why does anybody care that he fought Floyd or give him credit for fighting Floyd? That one always made ZERO sense to me.

EVERY fighter in boxing was dying for the opportunity to fight Floyd. They even called the Mayweather Sweapsteaks.

That's like someone winning the lottery and giving them credit for making a great and courageous investment.

By the mid-to-late round, he was tired, going to the ropes and his punches lost steam & fatigue also affected his defense and Bivol really turned it up & started tagging him with a simple 1-2.

Brilliant game plan from Bivol...make Alvarez fight at a pace where he can't rest.

If Alvarez can fix his stamina, he'll beat Bivol in the rematch...not because he's the better fighter but he'll have enough energy to sustain throwing the eye catching punches, his defense will be a little tighter & he won't retreat the rope, thus swaying the corrupt judges.

Without fixing his stamina, Alvarez will always lose to Bivol.

Man you said this above lol. Emphasis on the bolded parts. GGG beat Canelo pretty much the same style that Bivol did - he outworked him. GGG's gas tank was what won him those fights mainly.

GGG - Canelo 1, GGG threw about 700 punches, that's about what BIvol threw vs Canelo.

Okay then, there's Floyd Mayweather, who elite. Whether he lost or not is irrelevant as long as he fought him.
