If Canelo Alvarez decides to have a rematch vs Dmitry Bivol, what can Canelo do better or different to win the fight?

He cant do much, bivol had an answer for everything.

He could try to jab and feint more to create his openings, he could try combinations more, not loading up every punch. He was just walking in throwin one shot at a time and that worked on less skilled guys at 168, he did away with the jab because he loaded up every shot and that will break down those guys but bivol just blocked them and end result was canelo was gassed with not much landed.

He also looked slow and i dont know if it was just that bivol is quick himself or if canelo did in fact slow down, but he could focus on not being as heavy, focus on speed and stamina in training.

I dont think the above would be enough to legitimately beat bivol but it would atleast leave him not as gassed late in the fight and potentially winning more rounds.

I don't think he can win the rematch so don't think he should take it personally. If he managed to pull it off i would respect him though even for taking the rematch after that loss.

Idk what else he could do besides vary his offense.

Past few fights, all he has been doing is, "measure jab, measure, measure, loaded up right hook"..."measure, measure, measure, loaded up right uppercut"....."measure, measure, measure, loaded up right hook or uppercut, left hook to the body"....or lunging on a loaded up left hook to the head or body. He'd do this and take a few seconds off to admire his work, or evade and pivot to move away from shots at range.

He could vary up his offense more, but, tbh, Bivol is just a terrible style for Canelo.

Apply intelligent pressure, move his head, throw combos inside and don't move back out in straight lines.

Just like how everyone before fight was saying bivol had no chance they will now say canelo would have no chance in a rematch, neither are true, the rematch is a competitive fight.

Not sure why people keep saying this "everyone was saying Bivol had no chance" simply not true if you went over to the other forum the poll was legit 50/50 with bivol being ahead here and there so that's not the case at all. Canelo was favourite with the betting crowd but actual boxing fans knew Bivol had a chance and it was a risky fight for Canelo so let's not play it down like that.

He'll lose again. I've seen enough of Canelo. I wouldn't mind not seeing him fight again. In my view, this rematch is useless. Maybe move down to 160 and see those PBC boys, after first tuning up on GGG. I think Canelo beyond middleweight is meh. Get in shape down to 160 and finish your career there. He can do that.

I knew nothing good would come out of all this weight jumping BS. I said this before his Euro Farce had even started.

                Stay in your lane.

I don't have time to check every corner of the Internet for people picking bivol, on here, youtube, the boxing media and the odds makers bivol was a considerable outsider.

Every corner of the net? come on man the other forum is much more popular than this one it's obvious which one im talking about and if you don't visit it you are losing out. You mean a lot of people who could be paid off to hype Canelo considering hes cash cow and Bivol was a nobody? As i said polls had it split and i even said it was risky before the fight.
