People want to see rematches of close fights where either guy could have won. This was a KO. No one is calling for the rematch of this fight or the Brook/Khan fight.

Hmm that's quite crazy, got ko'd, not really that close a fight. Be grateful for that what $8-10 million payday.
He gave a decent account in the fight though. If he fights Benavidez, he will get brutally stopped.

Maybe Charlo should be ruled out of these types of conversations as canelo isn't going back to 160 and Charlo shows no interest in stepping up to 168 and fighting anyone.Comment

he doesnt deserve a rematch whatever he does from this point onwards, his performance was just awful, didnt look for once second in the build up or the fight that he believed he could win

There is no reason to see this fight again. Plant won a couple rounds that's it and was decisively knocked out. Rematches should be for close or controversial fights. This was neither. He's not on Canelo's level and that's already been established. Meanwhile Charlo, Benavidez should be fighting Plant or each other to earn a Canelo fight. It's disgraceful the level of competition they are each fighting when all are on the same promotional/network.Comment
