He did. Loma had the operation afterwards. I thought that Teo was off against Kombosos - but George dod what he had to do and took advantahe of the opportunity. Like they say, often times luck is being prepared when the opportunity presents itself
ryan garcia knows boxing & he knows a crybaby when he sees one, teo & his pops have joined ryan in the cry baby club, hell even loma looked like a crybaby after he fought teo with his hospital pics, i dont know, must be something about this LW division, who will cry next, kambo or haney i wonder
Would be funny if Kambosos beats Haney & Ryan. He already beat one "unbeatable" so who knows. Teofimo has his problems (like his dad) but hopefully he will come back strong. Many good fights out there at 135/140.
Young Ryan has a point. The old adage "it's not who you play it's when you play them" can be applied to boxing as well. Perhaps King Ry caught Campbell at the right time, with one foot in retirement and recovering from Covid.
We can jump down rabbit holes and what if scenarios all day but we are still only left with the result that actually happened.

Nothing new about catching a fighter at a wekened moment, Leonard did it with Duran in there rematch Duran was not done celebrating and took the fight before he was done with that part of it all. It happens. But big dif still, Duran endured and gave great memories of fights Before and After Lenard as time rolled on, also when he spoke of another mans wife he was just being himself not looking for an edge or to make an image for himself. Garcia is a scripted talker. Every time I hear Garcia I think of Joe Cooker > Cry me a River..............
