Maybe I'm a bit old and out of touch but when I googled the term woke it meant being aware of discrimination due to race, ethnic, or religion. I always thought that was a good thing to be aware of so why is this term used as a negative by some people?? Woke us just a new term for an old thing. The current young generation believe it’s their idea but the actual reality is that every generation considers themselves more ‘woke’ than its predecessor and as such the next generation will look back on the current young generation in exactly the same way.
