Trinidad lost that fight, De La Hoya boxed is socks off, to use a boxing terminology.
The fans that were upset with De La Hoya were angry with him for playing it safe the last couple of rounds.
But De La Hoya had won enough of the early rounds to earn the unanimous decision, and he was a hell of a fighter.
He fought everyone in his division'(s), he didn't duck any fighter in his day, you can't ask or expect anymore from a fighter.

Well sh.it, at least you're honest. Most I've asked had Boricuas had Trinidad winning.

I’m convinced Canelo wants nothing to do with Andrade or Charlo. He seems to only fight guys who wouldn’t becomes stars and are foreigners. Dude has ducked Char And Andrade for so long. That fight could have been made in 2015. He should have fought GGG in 2014 a year after he missed weight at 154 against Angelo. Dude wanted until GGG was older than Hagler when he retired. Still needed special steak! It’s 2022 and he is gonna fight Bivol. Now it’s a better fight than the last few but it’s one of those things that they think Bivol can’t KO him so can’t get the win. Fighting 40 year old GGG is dumb for the same reason. GGG could beat him again and wouldn’t get the nod. So we will see a 40 year old GGG know he needs a KO against Canelo. Won’t happen. Charlo in last few years could KO him at least. But he will wait Charlie power out. Andrade he won’t fight because Boo will make Caneo look silly and Ginger knows it. I don’t see him fighting David either.

The Lord Saul Canelo Alvarez has spoken. No amount of commentating in this forum can change anything now. It's all up to the waiting beggars now. And whether these waiters will finally fight each other remains to be seen. But I'm not hopeful. I'm sure they're now scrambling to find tomatoes for their next fights.

You must've forgot that many fans had Lara beating Canelo, and GGG beating Canelo not once but twice.
The second beating being so painful for Canelo that he weaseled out of a third fight, when it was one of the most anticipated fights at the time.
That said enough about Canelo, like I said in my prior post I Haven't paid to see a Canelo fight since his 2nd fight with GGG.
Skipping out on the trilogy killed it for me, 4 years later that fight won't be as big of a fight as it would've been back then.

Nobody thinks Lara defeated Canelo, only haters think it was a shady decision. It's easy, Lara mostly scored jabs (70% of his landed punches), Canelo landed the double of Lara's jabs with power punches. Watch the fight without the commentaries.
Then to say that Canelo weaseled out of a third fight, when it's documented in video on YouTube GGG saying in an interview why he rejected the 3rd fight with Canelo on 2018. There's no way your lies are believed with that kind of evidence. The 3rd fight was offered to GGG when Canelo was still with DLH, and he rejected the fight, told by the man himself and his team.

I can't believe it's come to this, that Bivol is the inferior fighter to garbage ass Andrade and Charlo. Bivol would smack both of them around with ease.

And it's not only this site, a lot of haters out there have their minds made up that Bivol is a cherrypick.

This fight could easily go bad for Canelo. If he wanted a cherry pick, he would've chosen Charlo, Andrade or Benavidez.
