Top boxers of an era are notorious for waiting around for the cash cow. In the meantime they fight soft touches or stay inactive until that fight can happen. They don’t want to ruin their chances.

Shane Mosley after destroying Margarito, knew his time was almost up and that was his last good performance. So he waited around idle, going to Wild Card gym to beg Pacquiao for a fight, getting inside of the ring after Mayweather-Marquez. Fighters who display this behavior usually have the fans backing/blessing to continue it. Just sit around calling for the cash cow to fight you. Fans love fighters who do this.

Canelo stays active, keeps adding top 10 names to his resume. Everyone else is sitting around either doing nothing or fighting soft touches.
And it's so pathetic in that other guys don't want to fight quality oppositions and try to make a carear and name for themselves. They just remain idle waiting for Alvarez payday. It's cowardly

Charlo, Andrade, Benavidez will not fight each other while waiting on Canelo payday, no way. Nobody wants to to se before getting career payday.

If Canelo makes it clear he stays at 175 after fighting Bivol, they will probably follow him.

Canelo already has FOTY wrapped up in February and will add 9 figures to his account.
He doesn’t need to worry about this guys stalling their careers while they wait by the phone to see if Canelo calls.
It’s sad these guys get so risk adverse they don’t realize their time in this game is limited and being scared to chase greatness only hurts them.

Everybody wants to fight you, but you can forget about all that old worn out story Canelo.
The fans don't want to see you fight everybody, they demand that you fight the best fighters.
You're getting paid top dollar, but you were fighting bargain basement fighters.
If you really want, and expect the respect of boxing fans, you have to have the guts to fight Charlo, Benavidez, Andrade, and Beterbiev.
You screwed yourself when you didn't fight GGG for a third time THREE YEARS AGO.
I haven't paid to see one of your fights since your 2nd GGG fight, you left the fans salivating for the 3rd.
In so doing you cheated the boxing fans, and the promoters who paid you an astronomical amount of money to sign with them.
They were banking on getting their money's worth on a third fight between you, and GGG, but you weaseled out of that deal, and ever since you've been pretty much telling the boxing organization's, and promoter's who you want to fight.
You want to be king, but you act like a princess, and they allow you to dictate your terms to them, that is why you're being called out by the boxer's, and more importantly the boxing fans.
Because it is the fans who elevate the fighters through there financial, and vocal support, if the fans don't pay to watch the fighters fights, the fighter is going absolutely no where.
So don't think that your bigger than boxing, because it was boxing that took you from the poor house to the pent house.
You've earned what you got, but you don't want follow the process that got you where your at, because rich people want others to do the hard work for them.
That's why your calling for Charlo, and Benavidez to face each other so that you don't have to face them, you don't run boxing so who in the hell do you think you are making demands of other fighters to follow?
Then you have the audacity to say "this year I'm busy," what a super duper diva, I believe his days in the lime light are numbered any way.
I don't see him retaining any of his titles past 2022, he should win both of his fights this year, but in 2023 he'll become an ex-champion.

I remember Mosley ended up sitting out a year because Berto pulled out after Haiti was devastated by a natural disaster or somethin.

Why doesn’t he want to fight somebody who is good and someone who is going to challenge him? This bum of the month club is getting boring. He is not the same fighter that I thought I knew.

There it is, yall want a shot at the king, earn it, both Charlo and Benavidez haven't done much even if I'm more intrigued with those guys vs Nelo

I Agree, I think it does add more to his legacy to take out Bivol (wont be easy), then as his third fight in matchroom could it be Beterbiev at 175, undisputed at 168 n 175 lol

Initially when he did business with PBC/Haymon i didn't think he'd leave cause of the more money potential with Haymon, but like he said he's a multimillionaire, he's more worried now about chasing legacy greatness
