Oscar was at his best weight when he fought Floyd.
Besides, Roach was going on record before the Pacquiao/DLH fight about how DLH hasn't made WW in 10 years and he'll be weight drained and won't be able to pull the trigger. No one believed him until the fight actually happened.
According to Floyd fans, Manny Pacquiao is a ***** boxer who can only brawl. No boxing skill. That means that he is a limited fighter. This is repeated over and over anytime Manny Pacquioa is discussed regarding boxing ability such as when he said he would outbox Miguel Cotto.
So lets put it in perspective.
Manny Pacquiao, the limited brawler, moved up to 147 to fight Oscar De La Hoya who was dry, but did not lay a GLOVE on this limited, come forward, no defense bralwer.
By admission of Floyd fans, Manny Pacquioa's preformance *****hs ANY perfomance put on by Floyd for the simple fact that this LIMITED, NO SKILLED BRAWLER moved up from 135 to 147 and was able to put a beating on DLH, one which he has never received before without as much as DLH landing leather on him.
Skill wise they are the same, but Floyd's fight was against a healthier Oscar. I don't think that diminishes what Pac did to a much naturally bigger man.
And the better Hatton was definitely the one in the Pac fight.
Of course Floyd fought the better Oscar. Oscar has not fought at WW for 7 years and was weight drained. Pacnab outweighed Oscarm while Oscar had 15 pounds advantage over Floyd
