I am not saying Maciel is a top contender or anything, but he has fought decent men and always puts up a show. For a man having his 9th fight he is a reasonable opponent, if you look who the best fighters in the world today fought in thier 9th fight most of the opponents barely had a pulse.

I’m not sure Brian Rose would be much of a step up at this point, he’s nearly 40 and done

Maybe a name like Avni Yildirim would be good In a couple of fights. He’s back at middleweight and couldn’t even beat Jack Cullen. I would pick Williams to beat Cullen.
