Quite a controversial decision, although Jacobs faded badly in the second half of the fight.
I can't see either beating Morrell, who apparently is the WBA champion. I thought Canelo has the WBA title as part of his undisputed titles. That's the WBA for you.Last edited by Liondw; 02-12-2022, 07:39 PM.

After the big Canelo payday, Jacobs willingness to go that extra gear to win fights has vanished. Should just retire and enjoy his life.

On topic, no robbery here. Jacobs is barely a fighter and more of a spoiler and thus often produces this type of sht fight where you are scratching your head as to who you should give a rd. The fact he nearly got KO’d after the warning because he was trying to fight without spoiling just shows his real lvl in actual boxing skills and not spoiler skills.
We could avoid a lot of these fights if holding/spoiling was more strictly enforced. Then guys would be forced to fight and here either Jacobs would’ve KO’d Ryder, or gotten KO’d.Last edited by SplitSecond; 02-12-2022, 08:07 PM.

I thought it was a competitive but easy fight to score. Jacobs won 8-4.
I know people like to talk about Ryder and bad decisions against him but I would say Jacobs is in the same boat. I had Jacobs beating GGG and Ryder but he didn’t get either decision.
It appears that Jacobs has to KO his top opponents to get the W.
He needs to push for a rematch, and if he gets it, he needs to push for a KO.

I scored it 6-4 and 2 even for Ryder. I'm scratching my head at some of these scores on here.
How anyone had the first two for Jacobs is baffling. You lot need to watch those rounds again and see how no one won them. You couldn't separate them.
The usual weirdo's are here though with their usual laughable extremism. You know who you are.
