I think he said he saw it as pretty even but leaning towards Lubin - I guess he was right in a sense - was up on judges cards (though wrongly imo) - kinda hard to predict that Lubin's face would bust up so much and maybe he thought that Lubin would show more lateral movement just like Lubin's corner was imploring him to do

Yeah. Breadman does good breakdowns of how each fighter might pull off the victory. Lubin/Fundora was 50/50 so that wasn't an easy pick.

I agree it wasn’t an easy pick. I truly do believe that if Lubin’s nose wasn’t broken then it would have been either a win or draw. I’m just shocked at how good of an inside fighter Fundora is. Those uppercuts are very nice. Only thing is that he is very vulnerable to a right hook, which is why Erickson probably separated his shoulder and is having it surgically repaired.

Damn Butaev vs Stanionis is a true pick Em fight. Odds are even on most sites. I think that might be a good shakeup for the leader board.

I would rather have Benn v Van Heerden than CBS vs McCarthy. I think the latter is too wide IMO.
Are you setting up this weekend or you need me to so you can focus on spreadsheet?
I'm just gonna do it now... won't take long. I have got a busy week on but I'll try to work my way through the backlog on the spreadsheets over the next few days, maybe aim for 1 pick em thread a night or something.

Not sure you're looking at the right odds though, CBS MCCarthy II is really close by the bookies... and rightly so given the first encounter, whereas Benn vs Van Heerden is real wide... too wide in fact if you ask me. Young Connor has definitely come a long way in the last few years but he's still very much a work in progress.

I prefer CBS vs McCarthy over Benn Vs van Heerden.

If we do Benn vs van Heerden about 99% of the participants will pick Benn. Dont see a reason to include that fight. Its highly likely an instant 20 or more points for everyone.
CBS vs McCarthy was a close fight first time around and is also closer in odds than Benn vs van Heerden.

Just looking it over now and looking a little ahead with the scheduling and I reckon just gonna make the call on just Spence vs Ugas and Butaev vs Stanionis. I like CBS vs McCarthy too but with no title on the line neither top 10 per the TBRB or Ring (although Chris has got himself ranked by all 4 orgs) I'm thinking maybe 2 is enough. We got John Riel vs Butler and Fury Whyte on the 23, Vargas Smith, Valdez Stevenson (and maybe even Taylor -Serrano) on the 30th, at least Canelo vs Bivol on the 7th.. and I'm thinking 2 per week is a good pace to keep... as it stands that'd be 27 (or 28) fights up to end April... projecting to 81 for the year which is very much what I was aiming at.

You are correct bud. I had it mixed up with another bc I relooked and saw it was pretty close. Good luck with the spreadsheet. Get healthy you young man
