However there is a strong rationale for reproducing the data in the masterthread and having a permanent snapshot of the leaderboard and tally after each update since it allows for full transparency and the ability for each player to double check both their own scores and those of every other player at every stage. It was a concious decison otherwise I would simply have used the single table on the OP and updated it as necessary without filling the thread body full of tables. In short I decided to make the Masterthread itself the public data repository and it has the benefit of requiring no special knowledge or passwords to access it.
There was a number of reasons for this - obviously for transparency and verifiabilty, which were of greater of signicance since I'm also a player (as are the other CREW) and wished to head off any possible suggestions of cheating. Secondly it meant that again - should anything happen to me or my data another player or CREW member would have a permanent log of the results to that point from which they could pick up - and backcheck - the results.
Again my experience from trying to reconstruct a month or two of results after BroBob dropped out in early 2018 leaving the scoreboard in a mess after what appeared to be some tabulation copy pasting errors gave me the idea that just having a single copy of the table that was kept updated could prove problematic if something should go wrong again and perhaps I was to lose my own dada or make some critical formatting errors.
In short whilst I'm sure the path I choose is pretty clunky and probably vastly inefficient I deliberately designed it with maximum redundancy, robustness, reproducability and transparency very conciously in mind and the various modifications I've made to the system over the years have continued to keep those concepts very much at the forefront.
That said there was a massive learning curve at the start - I hadn't used any kind of spreadsheet for about 20 years before starting on this, had never really editted any html or run any kind of similar league, so I'm absolutely sure there were better and certainly more efficient ways of solving the same problems... and absolutely I'm on board with any ideas which will streamline the process and especially save me time since I'm increasingly struggling to find time to keep up with the updating.
There's is a potential idea from MikeyG that might help speed things up vastly and if use of a CRM could help things too - or indeed in conjunction - then I'm absolutely on board - with the caveat that we're able to stay true to the core principles of transparency, checkablity, reliability and reproducability, even in the unlikely event of loss of access to the CRM.
Tell you what... I'll go away and read up on CRMs a little see if I can glean what the benefits would be and maybe you - if you'll forgive my ignorance -can spell out a little more clearly what you think the utility would be and then I'll be able to make a bit more of an informed decison.

You need to talk with Koba about that situation!
Sadly whilst you have my deepest sympathies and we at the PICK EM CREW seek to offer you a pleasant gaming experience, this is not a service we are able to offer at this time.
However if I might suggest contacting the gentleman below he may be more willing to assist you given his history of related experience...
