Comments Thread For: Teofimo Lopez Lashes Out at Critics: 'F--- Humble! It's Growth'

Teofimo Lopez appears to have no plans of turning over a new leaf. The former lightweight champion is coming off on the losing end of one of the most startling upsets from last year, a points loss to George Kambosos Jr. on Nov. 27 at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. The loss prompted many observers to criticize the 24-year-old for his brashness leading up to that bout. Post-fight, Lopez was not exactly charitable, refusing to concede that the challenger had actually beaten him.

What's growth? All he says is "it" but he doesn't say what "it" is.

His Father/Family and his rumored marital issues are going to be this kids undoing,if it already isnt.. it's usually those that pound their chest and scream the loudest that are the most insecure and unsure of themselves. Looks like he's less mentally stable than even Ryan and that's saying something.

Teo struggling with his ego, his dad, girlfriend.. kid lacks maturity, that's all. This said, 140 is a whole other ball game. Not sure he can fit in with the top guys.. Would he have a chance against Taylor, Prograis, Ramirez, even Mathias or Pedraza? Not sure. I feel the jump from 135 to 140 is a bit tricky.. like from 154 to 160.

the noise is annoying but fine if he can stay calm in the ring.. he must have been dealing with a lot of stuff internally and in his personal life for the kambosos fight because he was calm vs Lomachenko..

There's nothing to this guy's personality that millions of other annoying zoomers don't already have.

If you're going to have an obnoxious personality so be it, but at least try and be somewhat unique about it.

Family tried to warn him on the Wifey! That being said, not sure if Father has his best interest? The Kambosos fight was totally unnecessary! Should've just moved up after Loma! Pops had to know that, and if he didn't, maybe he needs to go? And then to let him fight in that condition, yeah that's all f'd up!
