Feels kinda ****ty that the fighter is the one having to get out there and make excuses for the decision of his promoter/manager.

But that's how it is over there - Al Haymon doesn't show is face in public, speak to the media, or promote his fight - so these guys have to face the scrutiny instead

PPV has been a broken model for years.

Two fighters coming off losses, one of them inactive for over 2 years. It's a poor PPV fight.

According to what I heard, Ortiz-Martin sold less than 30,000 views at 40 bucks.

If I set the over/under at 30,000 views on this at 75 dollars, anyone taking the over?

            Anyone?

If you are a true boxing fan, you know what Im saying. Tank vs Barrios was huge and on PPV with an undercard that wasn’t that great, Thurman vs Barrios is to expensive, but you have 2 former world
champs in the undercard? Go figure!
i'm looking at the undercard. i see leo santa cruz and luis nery are also coming off losses. so right there you got 50% of the televised fighters coming off of a loss. santa cruz is fighting a guy i've never even heard of. nery's opponent's best win is a guy who's been stopped in 4 of his last 5 fights. ramos vs santamaria is somewhat intriguing i suppose, but the loser of that fight basically becomes a journeyman.

              it's worth $75.

For those saying that it's on Pay-per-view because of the salary demands didn't these guys have contracts that guaranteed them their salary
