Joe Smith’s next KO victim. He’s gonna knock him outof the ropes like what he did to that racist POS Bernard “I’ll never let a white biy beat me” Hopkins.

Just kidding, agree entirely with the sentiment. It's the wording that is open to misinterpretation
back to boxing though. Yarde hadn’t learnt to pace himself by the time he met Kovalev as nobody decent would fight him prior to that and I think the furthest he’d gone had been 6 rounds. Plus he’d almost had him out of there a couple of rounds earlier and utterly emptied his tank. I doubt he’ll make the same mistake. Second time out against Arthur it seemed to have dawned on him what he is - a knockout artist. I get the feeling if he makes every fight a shootout right from the start like he did against Lyndon, there’s not many of any that will hang with him - perhaps Bivol due to his movement or Beterbiev. Kovalev only stopped him due to exhaustion. He’d barely layed a glove on him prior to that. Personally I think he blows Buatsi away as he’s got a leaky defence and Yarde hits harder and appears to have better timing. Buatsi isn’t that accurate although appears durable.

He’s only fought one of them and lost primarily due to inexperience in my eyes. Also remember that although he did lose to Kovalev, he did almost stop him in the 8th which is 3 rounds quicker than Canelo managed the job on a softened up Kovalev that accepted a short camp
immediately after the Yarde fight.
He showed from the Arthur fight that he’s capable of learning from a loss and has come back well for the Kovalev loss. Everyone was very critical of both Yarde and his trainer after the Kov loss but I think it was largely unjustified if you look at it in perspective as both were very inexperienced at that level. Let’s see how he does from here.Mofias likes this.
