I think everyone knew a rubber match with Lara wouldn’t get rescheduled.

This is a good fight for Josh though, if he regains the IBF belt his career has direction again. His time under the Matchroom banner has been a complete disaster so far.
He fights on BT for Frank Warren now mate. I think maybe the last 2 fights?

I'm glad to see Warrington get this opportunity, though I admit he doesn't really derserve... But why can't Galahad get a rematch? Did he not have that in the contract?

Stepped up in weight class. Had problems making weight in his last match, and if suffering from the same problems against in a rematch, the same KO loss could easily happen again.

I think he could potentially beat Lopez tbh. Warrington is a big step up compared to Isaac Lowe, Flores Jr etc.

Warrington? Nah he re-signed with Matchroom in 2020 and got KTFO in his first fight with them against Lara after Eddie advised him to drop the belt.

Frank actually done a great job with Josh. Got him the world title fight at Elland Road, the Frampton fight. I was surprised he left Frank.

ah fair enough I didn't realise. I was surprised Matchroom let him go in the first place given how many tickets he can shift.

Yeah same here mate, I think Frank just made him a better offer tbh and probably vice versa when he went back to Eddie.

Brit bums like Canelo, Golovkin and Vergil Ortiz? Cowards like Wilder and Otiz? Cheaters like Jarrell Miller and David Benavidez?

And in his hometown at that bull**** fight Kiko deserves a homecoming fight after he got screwed against Barrett and then had to go into hostile territory again to claim his belt.
If Kiko wanted a homecoming he could ask for one and would get one. Kiko has tune ups in Spain. His big fights are abroad for him. There's a reason for that. It's called big payday.

It'll be a tough fight for him sure, but you never know. If Warrington has an off night, he might have a chance.
