Thanks for that, not seen that interview.

I agree Cotto is a harder puncher than Ricky, but IMO in 2004/2005 Ricky's power wasn't too far behind and would have affected the version of Cotto back then.

I can literally feel my IQ diminishing as I read. My girlfriend just asked me why I'm reading such ******ed websites. I had no answer to that. I almost felt ****** for wasting my time here. Luckily, the good guys make it worth coming back.

I never wanted to dislike a fighter because of his fans. It's something I've resisted ever since I've been into boxing (a hell of a long time) because I can make up my own mind about a fighter regardless of what some teenage trollop on a forum says. But there you go.

So, thanks very much, Cotto stans, you're really, really fucking brilliant at putting people off Miguel. Congratu-fucking-lations.

I agree with you in that Hatton would still have made a 7 figure pay day, but he made an 8 figure pay day fighting Mayweather. I don't think he ducked Cotto as such, just reckon he went for his career high pay day. Why didn't Cotto fight Mosley instead of fighting Pacquiao? Anyone could argue that Mosley was coming strong at the end of their last fight and that after Mosley whooped Margarito so bad...Cotto is scared! But we both know that's not the case. Mosley would give a 7 figure pay day to Cotto, but fighting Pacquiao would get Cotto even more. Money talks.

Not the 2004-2005 version of Cotto. Maybe he could have a close fight with the Cotto that faced Malignaggi (Cotto was weight drained that night vs Paulie) but not the early 140 of version that was making the weight without problems.

Cotto is just way better than Hatton at 140 and 147.

Sam, I too am finding myself agreeing with your posts on a much more regular basis than in the past lol..

I am a fan of Cotto's but in a similar way to the Pacquiao nuthuggers, Cotto stans are making it seem as if he is this unbeatable fighter, with unparralled power and skills and it pisses me off.

But I'll take a leaf from your book and not let it influence my opinions on Cotto.

              .
147 yes. Ricky in his prime at 140, I don't think so. We'll have to agree to disagree on that one.
