What a great way to start 2022, two prime rival contenders in a rematch. This match should be a hard battle for both Subriel Matias and Petros Ananyan, each man got in good rounds in their last bouts ; most notably Daniel Gonzalez, gave Petros a good test on 'Trillerverse 3' last October.

      So expect a war.

Obviously you are not a true fan of the sport or at least not a true fan of Matias because almost every fighter that ever lived wins some and loses some and no matter the outcome, he still makes great fights and is as TV friendly as it gets.

I'm a terrible human in general, but I guess I'll explain..Subriel has decent boxing skills, great power, and his head movement has gotten better..he is no spring chicken and a loss to the this C+ guy will end his marketability...in addition, if he can't beat this guy he won't beat a champion or contender

subriel's stamina is crap if he can't get him out of there within the first half he'll lose again.

FYI - there are countless champions and contenders who have lost to C+ guys and either won a title or regained one. Styles make fights. Win or lose, he can still have a great career.

Too late, he is 29. Gatekeeper maybe..but I think he is solid, not elite, not spectacular, but solid. If he Knocks this guy out, I say give him a title shot. Nit because anyanan or whatever is worth a title shot, but because he cleaned up his mess and was headed towards won had he beat him the first time, but if he loses, he is done
