Why UFC cards are better than boxing!

I am somewhat of a fan of the UFC. I never bought a PPV or wathed it on ****e but when nothing else is on ill watch a match or two. I think its funny how boxing is compared to UFC and vise versa. One has been around for a very long time the other just started over a decade or so ago.

That being said the reason I think the UFC PPV do better than boxing is because they show like 6 or 7 fights every time!
    Yes! EVERYTIME.

In boxing you get 3 maybe 4 if you are lucky.
I understand that a fight can go 10 3 minute rounds and that last longer than 3 5 miuntes rounds but come on give us some **** for our buck.

I would like to see better boxing cards and more fights.

Im not trying to get a 10 page discussion just bored at work.

That's the thing, at the end of the day the consumer should get what they pay for. Dishing out $54.95 isn't something people are quick to doing especially if you're only guaranteed maybe 1 good fight. UFCs PPVs consist of at the least 2 main events with good undercards. We're finally getting a decent undercard for the Mayweather vs Marquez fight, but what do you think strung that along? It's clear as day man...hopefully this is a sign for all Boxing promoters to grab their balls and make the real fights happen.

your right most undercard fights for boxing arnt great...boxing was popular before because don king would put up nice cards with chavez or tyson or trinidad along with other people on 1 card....now we get a good main event and 3 half decent fights but thats not going to entertain casual fans to buy a ppv. they would rather buy a ufc ppv because it has at least 2 good fights and pretty good undercards..although heard the last few ufcs cards ******

I like listenin to Lampley when I get a chance but in the UFC if a fight is over, instead of talking for about an hour. They show a fight from the under-card which will be a submission or a KO, keeps the fans more intrested.

If your a fan of the UFC you know your gonna get an action packed card. UFC 107 card is stacked already and few months away.

          B.J. Penn vs. Diego Sanchez
          Kenny Florian vs. Clay Guida
          Thiago Alves vs. Paulo Thiago
          Frank Mir vs. Cheick Kongo

That is all on one card and still few more fights to be annouced yet.

I think the HBO crew WITH Larry Merchant is the best out there.
I tried to watch showtime fights and they put me to sleep

idk if they have better cards..they just promote and hype they're fighters better.. mma is not all that popular outside of the UFC..and it's easier to follow for casual fans.. one organization, one title per division.. boxing is hard to follow if you don't stay on top of it like we do
