I still think Joshua's a good fighter. Failing to acknowledge that is a backhanded slight against Usyk. You can be a good fighter and still lose when you fight a great one. Joshua wasn't even the most overhyped fighter on Saturday night's card, that was Campbell Hatton.whollisboxing likes this.

All you UK lovers/AJ fans, don't ever call anyone a hype job ever again. You guys have it so wrong with AJ that you have 0 credibility.

im for giving fighters a bit of slack, yes he got ko'ed by pizza face, but pizza face on his night can ****, yes he got outboxed by the smaller guy, but lets give him his shot at putting it right, maybe he got complacent in his mind, i will just out strength him in the end type of thing, usyks previous fights did not allude to last nights performance maybe, it was a shock, joshua may do a lot better rematch, he now knows usyks real performance level and he knows what he has to do to match it, its a different mindset than going in as a big favourite, its a challengeBoxing-1013 likes this.

Two time WBA/WBO/IBF heavyweight champ with wins over Wlad, Povetkin, Pulev, Whyte is the most overrated guy in the last 10 years. You people are a joke.

What exactly is my logic? Please explain how it translates to Chisora having the best record in the division. Let me guess, based on your logic Ali Raymi is an all time great? Your takes are trash.

Logic of moronic boxing fans, whenever one loses thier a hype job. Fans of certain fighters can't even see thier complete bias to thier one guy.
At the end of the day there is not shame being out boxed by someone like Usyk. If Wilder couldn't catch him with a big right hand he would probably have massive problems with him.

He is not a hype job, but he is not some unbeatable monster Uk casual fanbases believed him to be.
I would say he is still top 5. I think usyk beats him again and Fury beats him also.

As to the rest of it there's some sorry mfers on here. I wouldn't waste your time. As soon as you see any of these threads about 'XXXX is a hypejob' you gotta understand you're not stepping into an objective discussion of a fighters accomplishments or abilities but merely someone's attempt to troll on a rival fanbase
Never been bowled over by Joshua myself but he fought who he had to and earned his spot at top 1 or 2 at heavyweight. Always thought the dude was a bit one dimensional... this generation's Frankie Bruno but pretty good at what he does backed up by size, strength and athleticism. In general no fighter deserves the most effusive of praise heaped on them by their most ardent fans and certainly none deserve the ridicule and distain of rival bases but objectively no one at heavyweight fought and beat more ranked fighters than Joshua, irrespective of his limitations. He deserves recognition for that IMO even though I was never much of a fan. Is what it is.
