nelo did well in the rematch but it was still a great fight!!
ggg is a cautious guy, he knows where hes at now, hes basically almost done, he has to choose carefully or he will get his ass handed to him and he knows that too, but he does want the toughest guy out there now, nelo again, for the cash i presume at this stage
that is correct, you sure do know your stuff... all of that " anyone from 154-168 " talk was bollocks !!
Golovkin wants a undeserved payday, but Canelo has moved on to bigger and better things

Bye Deyonce...off to Malik crib to spend the night...u go girl !!
as mentioned in the article, losing does not make one a hypejob...
... failing to live up to the lofty (often ridiculous) expectations that are bestowed upon one by his idiot fanbase... is what makes a fighter over-hyped
when Fury smacks Deyonce around (again), his position will be reviewed... but at this point there are very few "lofty (often ridiculous) expectations bestowed upon Deyonce by his fanbase"

Her fan base praised her for saying she wanted to take a body. When she gets BATTERED again please re-review the case.
Deyonce also tryna be best supporting actress on OF w/ Malicker

yeah ggg was never going to move between 154 and 168, what i presume he meant was he wanted guys at 154 and 168 to come to him and he would fight them!!
i would have liked to have seen charlo v ggg, remember too, charlo had plenty of time to challenge ggg nelo etc but choose to arrive at MW in his 30's, by that time the division had cleared out!! i presume ggg is thinking now that if i lose i will lose any chance of a nelo fight again

Hmmm.... Were you there in the 70s-80s to gauge the level of hype around certain fighters?
I'll be more explicit. For me, even considering his losses, Pacquiao is undeserving of being included in your list, for the results he achieved overall justify his fans' enthusiasm.
I would easily see Oscar De La Hoya in there. Now, THAT was a hype job, from both fans AND the boxing establishment.
Floyd fans are confusing? Pac is Floyd's best win supposedly and now they're saying PACs a hypejob?. You can't make this up.
I knew Floyd was a hypejob but after this thread it confirms it even more.
I suppose a light flyweight winning 8 titles up to 154lb is ATG material. But the the 154lb margarito beating the former light flyweight wouldn't be a great win. Ugas, Spence or Horn/Floyd beating PAC at 147 isn't great wins. That makes sense.
I mean if Elwin Soto the current light flyweight champ won titles up to ,147 he would automatically be in Archie Moore, Ali, class. But Ugas,Spence or bud beating Elwin Soto wouldn't necessarily even qualify as a good win. Your beating a man considered great, but it's not even a close to a great win on paper. Moral of story don't use Elwin Soto, or PAC as a meal ticket to greatness

no, Golovkin specifically stated that he would fight Canelo at 154, and Ward at 168
Golovkin Aims High and Low: Would Fight Ward at 168 and Canelo at 154
besides... pulling little guys up, and dragging big guys down, is nothing to brag about... weight manipulation is frowned upon by serious boxing fans
no, that 154-168 nonsense was just marketing hype and bullshlt that was targeted at his idiot fanbase
and when fights with Ward and Canelo were offered to Golovkin, he killed both of those fights over weight

Thats a funny boxingvoice article, ggg is quoted as saying he is a MW but can still make JMW, hhhhmmm has he even ever fought at JMW!?! odd one that
as for ward, i dont think that fight was ever on, could be bad style match for ggg, ward would hug him to death and the money would be not great either, wheres the incentive in that one i wonder
