It's a tough fight for Caleb but I'm rooting for him.
come on man, you need to be far more realistic than that...
FACT 1: Canelo is a super-middleweight... he stated that he will never fight at 160 again
FACT 2: Andrade is a middleweight... he has never fought at 168
THEY FIGHT IN TOTALLY DIFFERENT DIVISIONS
FACT 3: a unification with Plant will crown the first undisputed super-middleweight champion in boxing history... THAT IS HUGE
FACT 4: Andrade LITERALLY brings nothing to the table... there is no reason whatsoever to justify his selection over Plant
Andrade is not a draw, so there are no financial benefits in selecting him over a history-making undisputed unification fight with Plant
Andrade is not a name opponent, so that is not a legacy fight... especially compared to a history-making unification fight with Plant
PLANT IS A MUCH BIGGER FIGHT THAN ANDRADE, AND HE IS A MUCH BETTER OPPONENT
here is your REAL problem...
in order of difficulty (just trust me on this)...
1) Saunders - he is HIGHLY skilled, and VERY well-rounded... he is a more complete fighter than Plant or Andrade, therefore he is a more capable fighter than Plant or Andrade... which is why he is more accomplished than Plant or Andrade
before that fight... everyone was saying that Saunders is a joke, and the fight would be a total mismatch
I told everyone that nobody has seen the best of Saunders as a pro, not even with Lemieux... I warned everyone that he is highly skilled, and he knows every trick in the book... I remember watching him outclass TOP opponents when he was just a kid... his timing, option-taking, punch-selection, and overall ability has always been excellent... like I said, he was a very mature well-rounded fighter back when he was a kid
I told everyone that Saunders is going to give Canelo fits early in that fight... I said that he will win rounds... I said that Canelo will struggle with Saunders movement, with his skillset, and with his ringIQ... and I predicted that fight will be wide open at the halfway point
I did however pick Canelo to win by decision... because of his ability to adapt, his big-fight temperament, his excellent corner, and his SHARP next-level counter-punching... SHARP next-level counter-punching that would be way too much for the less experienced, less well-rounded, less capable, Andrade...
2) Plant - he is more abrasive than Saunders... but he is not as skilled, he is not as well-rounded, and his overall game is not as tight as Saunders... Saunders has a better, more technically-correct, style... especially against a TOP world-class opponent like Canelo... I can see Canelo getting to Plant, sooner than he got to Saunders
it is significant that every single Canelo opponent since Chavez... could not get his natural game going, and delivered a subpar performance... think about it...
Chavez was timid, he was hesitant, and he got outclassed over the course of that fight... his size, his will, and his options, were reduced to nothing... Canelo was way too SHARP and way too PUNISHING
same with Golovkin... he was timid in the rematch, and he could not get his natural game going at all... no pipe-bursting pressure, no trademark bodywork, no breaking his opponent down over the course of the fight... Golovkin was hesitant, and he could not commit... forced onto the back foot for long periods in that fight... and when Golovkin attempted to change the momentum by fighting to his strengths, which is pressure and heavy-handed debilitating punches... he was limited/ineffective, and he struggled to stamp his mark on the fight because the SHARP punishing Canelo was too dangerous
Fielding got totally outclassed and never really fired a shot... not a great example to prove my point, but that speaks to Canelo's level
Jacobs did well imo... but he struggled to settle in, and he often looked uncomfortable... he was (ridiculously) accused of trying to weight-bully little Golovkin when they fought, but his size made no impact whatsoever on the much smaller Canelo... and the tight game that Jacobs was forced to adopt against those SHARP punishing counters meant that his options were reduced/limited, and he could not take any risks whatsoever in order to make an impact on the fight
Kovalev was always wary, and he could not get his usual abrasive game going against a much smaller opponent... just like Chavez and Golovkin, Kovalev looked timid at times... he struggled to apply the same pressure and consistency that he displayed against the super-talented Ward, despite having every physical advantage over the much smaller Canelo... I think that Kovalev would catch Andrade and batter him to a quick KO, it is hard to imagine Andrade making any impact on a LHW monster like Kovalev
Smith was HUGE... he was young, confident, and undefeated... but shlt got real for Smith very early in the proceedings when he realized that he was totally outmatched in every department... he laid a egg, just like all the others... Smith could not get his game going at all, and he could not make any impact on that fight
Yildirim laid a egg, just like all the others... he realized he was out of his depth very early, could not get his game going, and hardly fired a shot
3) Andrade - he does not have Plant's size, and he is not a huge puncher... so he will struggle to bring the necessary physicality that is required in order to live with Canelo for 12 HARD rounds... he is elusive, but Andrade is not as well-rounded, not as skilled, and not as savvy, as Saunders... I expect him to be totally outmatched in every single department... and JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHERS, Andrade will realize very early on, that he wrote cheques with his mouth that he cannot cash with his fists... and he will struggle to get his game going and fail to make any serious impact on that fight... Canelo will be way too sharp and way too punishing for Andrade... who will jump on his bike early, will look unsettled and timid, and will be unable to commit to anything meaningful or make any serious impact on the fight... falling well short
he may not totally lay a egg, like Smith... but he will never be seriously in that fight, like Smith... Andrade is NOT Danny Jacobs
I have no fkn interest whatsoever in that fight, I know exactly what will happen
Charlo would be a better opponent than Andrade... but like Andrade, Charlo would need to acclimatize at 168 before that fight has any appeal
FACT 5: Andrade hasn't done shlt !! ... who the fk is he? LMAO
serious question... who is Andrade's best opponent ?
WHO ???
yes, he is talented... but, FACT: he hasn't done shlt...
Charlo vs Andrade has been a... CLEAR... OBVIOUS... no-brainer... for at least three years !!
neither Charlo nor Andrade can cry about missing that opportunity/payday... that fight is obvious, and it is necessary... so they should have got it done
THEY BOTH KNOW, that Golovkin will never fight them... they should have fought each other, the winner would have distanced himself from the competition and been in a much better position to stick his hand up when opportunities presented themselves... they owed it to the division, and they owed it to themselves... but, no... just like all of the welterweights when Mayweather was active, they refused to fight each other... hoping the others would lose, so they could win that payday by default... HARD LUCK FOR THEM !!
and, yes... I know that Andrade signed to fight Saunders, and I know that he has repeatedly called out Golovkin... but it has been obvious for a long time that Golovkin is not interested in fighting the other champions at 160, so calling him out is hollow and meaningless... and Andrade got lucky, because Saunders would have beaten him
Canelo would be a HUGE favorite over Andrade, very few punters would expect that fight to be competitive... it is silly to insinuate that Canelo ducked a guy that he would almost certainly beat, especially when Canelo has selected far better - and far more worthy - opponents... and beaten them as well
come on man, stop the nonsense... just admit you don't like the fat red cvnt, and leave it there

Even if honor ans truthfulness must be forgotten by those fakers, still lives are at stake. Home clean Plant will be competitive enough to not be exposed to the dangerous, revengeful mindset of a proven cheater. who sadly happens to be one of the best boxer of his generation. But probably less winner if clean.
which one of your hypejobs did the fat red kid smack around... ?
it was Golovkin, wasn't it ?
1) four independent authorities stated that the positive test result was almost certainly caused by accidental contamination
2) WADA have since lowered the threshold for clenbuterol within their program, meaning that Canelo would not have tested positive had the threshold been more reasonable from the start
3) Canelo performed better in the rematch with Golovkin, and we know that he was clean... so, it appears that you are crying over nothing
oh, and there is this...
" I believe that he erased the issues that he had in May. What a great champion he is. He’s the champion today... I think he’s vindicated. I think that he fought the kind of fight that his fans and the fans in general expected. He fought the kind of fight that he talked about. He made a mistake and we have to believe that he did it, he was checked twelve to fourteen times for this fight and they were all negative. They put on the kind of fight that clean good fighters put on, giving us the thrills in every round. The pace was unbelievable, it was great to see from the corner, " Sanchez told .

When was this fight made official? Seems like Alvarez does not like giving his opponents much time to prepare.
