Brainless? Says the fool with a Pokemon gif on his profile. Lol. Go get your facts straight before you start hating on somebody else. He had his belt for almost a year before he got stripped so you brainless for that alone. Nobody has forced Benavidez to go backwards and has made easy work of everybody they put in front of him. Until somebody forces him back, there's no need for him to change what he's been doing to win. Can't unify when he keeps losing his title for screwing up right after he wins it. You just sound like a hater. Get outta your feelings and go play some Pokemon GO or something. Lol.

Look at this fool with his feelings hurt, deflection 101^ (its a joke gif you imbecile, the fact u pretend it means I watch Pokemon shows how dumb most u dumbavidez fangimps are)

Only a clown would pretend anyone ducked dumbavidez aka few monthsavidez,& lmao at the dumass-ery of thinking the cashcow not fighting a bum who won a vacant belt & held it a few months equates to ducking that bum.

The same bum who got kd by a bum right before that,& who then got stripped on scales when due to get his vacant belt back.

The wbo did not add a vacant title to pac vs Margarito. They fought for the wbc title and the only reason that fight was made was because it was agreed that the wbc title would be made available so that pac would have a shot at another title in an 8th division. Their title wasn’t thrown into a fight out of nowhere, although in true wbc fashion, they were chasing the money because I’ve never seen two welterweights fight for a vacant jmw title. However, to your point, Wbo was not involved at all. With klitchko vs Joshua, the wba made the ruling that they’d fight for their title before the fight was officially happening. They made the announcement when Joshua was still scheduled to fight Eric Molina. So neither scenario you mentioned is accurate or even comparable to the wbc adding their title into a fight that was scheduled for just 1 week later.
Sanctioning bodies put a vacant title in play all the time when there's a fight between two high ranked guys in the division, and how in the heck are you going to act like the ring champ vs the p4p king is somehow unworthy matchup for it? It's also ridiculous how people try to deflect to Canelo over Benavidez missing weight as if he was the one who sabotaged him. Benavidez knew the biggest star in the sport was settling in his division, and what does he do? Come in 3 damn pounds overweight because he doesn't have the motivation or discipline.

I would love to see the fight. It will be a replay of Cotto-Margarito minus the illegal hand wrap. Canelo lands early easily winning the first half of the fight and Benevidez takes over and drowns Canelo late. TKO 9-11

i feel Benevidez is all wrong for canelo

I already said Benavidez messed up in my comment, but I also said that canelo never mentioned wanting to fight him nor did he mention unifying at 168 until Benavidez was out of the picture. You can pretend that’s a coincidence if you’d like, but others know better.

You also can defend the wbc all you want but there has been no organization in boxing ever that has catered to a boxer more than the wbc has with canelo. They gave him a title shot at 154 that he didn’t deserve at 20 yrs old for their vacant title against a welterweight that wasn’t even ranked in the top 10 in his own division. When have you ever seen that? They created a franchise title specifically for canelo so that he wouldn’t throw another tantrum about being mandated to face a mandatory (charlo) the way he did when he refused to fight his mandatory ggg after beating Cotto. And as I said with their 168 pound title, you can’t name 1 organization that sat on their vacant title for 4 months and then just threw it into the mix of a signed fight 1 week earlier so that canelo get get a 2 for 1 special on belts. Although they stripped Benavidez for missing weight, he could’ve been put back in line to fight for it again the same way they allowed canelo to fight for their wbc mw belt months after he got caught cheating by vada.

The fact that you're tying to find some angle to criticize Canelo over Benavidez coming three pounds overweight exemplifies how irrational some people have become.

It's funny you talk about how the WBC has been so good to him then reference a situation in which they screwed him over. To go back: When Cotto beat Martinez to became 160 champ, the WBC were looking for any excuse to get the belt in the hands of GGG who was seen as a rising super star, so they went against protocol and installed GGG as the mandatory to their belt even though he was a champ under a different organization. On top of that they increased the mandatory challenger purse split to an inflated 45%. Bear in mind, GGG hadn't even faced Lemieux then, so the notion that he should be entitled to such an inflated purse is ridiculous let alone the whole mandatory situation, but you're complaining about favorable treatment? When Canelo beat Cotto he inherited that BS scenario but with even more unfavorable circumstances because he was only allowed 6 months to come to terms for the unification even though it takes two sides to get a deal done. The WBC effectively screwed their own champ Canelo by giving all the leverage to the champ under a different organization, because GGG was facing no such pressure on his end from the WBA, so even if he held out, he'd either be guaranteed an inflated purse he did nothing to deserve or a belt he did nothing to earn, but you're complaining about favoritism? Not surprisingly Canelo told them to kick rocks like any A side fighter would have done in that situation, and he still gets heat over it when he's the one who got screwed.

You act like being 20 made him some random guy when he had already established a high ranking with all the organizations at 147 while in his teens and he carried his momentum when he moved up. After Pac defeated Margarito for the vacant belt, he announced he would immediately be vacating, and since Canelo was the next ranked guy and already had a fight lined up, they decided to put it in play on the condition that he fights the next highest ranked opponent available in his next fight, which is precisely what he did. This isn't uncommon. He was still only 20 years old when he solidified his championship status vs Ryan Rhodes.

Canelo never even made use of a franchise belt. Charlo's own people said Haymon rejected that fight at 160 (which isn't a surprise considering Al wouldn't cross the street with Plant either), so Canelo immediately moved up and became champ at light heavyweight, and is now on the cusp of undisputed at 168, but that's a problem?

You're complaining about favoritism but then act like Benavidez is somehow a victim for not being given an immediate third crack at the same belt he keeps losing because he clearly lacks the motivation to be champ. Incidentally, a fight between Canelo and WBC mandatory Yildirim had actually been announced prior for the vacant belt, but haters complained saying he was going after the weakest fighter, so he scrapped it and turned his focus on the ring champ Smith. Since the title was sitting there vacant, the WBC decided to put it in play on the condition that he fights mandatory Yildirim next (who also got some step aside money). Either way, Canelo was going to have to face those two guys for those two belts, but you're complaining because you didn't like the order? The level of nitpicking is ridiculous. He's set to face his third undefeated champ (plus his mandatory sandwiched between) for his fourth title fight in under a year, and yet, you have people trying to complain about it because at the end of the day what they resent most is his success.

you’re clearly just a canelo excuse maker. Ggg was the mandatory, canelo knew this before fighting Cotto as ggg had to step aside for that fight to happen. Canelo chose to take a voluntary against khan which was pathetic, refused to negotiate with ggg and then threw a tantrum when he got stripped. He then fought another two low level opponents after the khan joke all the while making excuses about weight and wanting ggg to take a flat fee. He wanted to drag the fight out plain and simple. As far as the joke title at 20 yrs old, you’re kidding yourself. His biggest win at the time was baldomir. Who the fk cares about that? Plus they gave him Matthew Hatton who wasn’t even a top 15 welterweight to fight at 154. Explain that? Just say you live canelo unconditionally and don’t care if he gets entitled treatment.

I say the part you put in bold bc at the time all the other guys had their belts, Canelo always mentioned Smith, Saunders & Plant, but never really spoke clear on Benavidez at the time from what I recall. Don't get me wrong, I feel Canelo would have fought him last anyway if he wanted to be undisputed being that he is, IMO, the biggest threat out of all of them. Benavidez is the most complete fighter out of all those guys. Canelo would not get out of a fight with Benavidez unscathed that's for sure. Just waiting on him to run over Plant already so we can see what he will do after.
He say that he didn't want to fight a mexican. That was when Benavidez was a champ.

And came overweight to fight a non-ranked welterweight, on a catchweight they, canelo's people, have proposed. Be safe.
