        I hope he gets in great shape and then drops the fight, stays clean, and goes on to live a healthy, full life....but I don't think that's how this ends....

          If this helps ODLH to kick the habit and stay clean I am all for it. Don't care about the fight and feeling great in training at that age doesn't translate well into a real fight.

                  Del LA Renta fought all the great fighters of his era, but lost to all of them. Trinidad, Mosley, Runweather, Pacquiao, Hopkins. He did beat, Chavez and Whitaker, I'll bet past there primes. Vargas and Quartey were good but not great champions.

                    I'm not gonna lie I wasn't expecting Oscar De La Hoya to be ripped like that. He looks like he's in better shape than some of the young fighters.
