I don't think your opinion is unfair or insulting. I just disagree with it. I like Pacquiao, but I almost never rooted for him in his fights for whatever reason (Broner and Floyd being the exception that I did), so its not anything emotional for me. Still, I just think that the challenge Pac has undertaken at 43 yrs old and the significance of the outcome would make a win greater than the fights you mention.

Definitely a Top 25 win EVER in the HISTORY of the sport. For context, Floyd does NOT have a Top 100 win EVER.

The WW division has been ASS since the golden era ~2005-2012ish. Casual fans clung to "WW" because it was previously amazing but once that era passed so too did its talent.

Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, and Keith Thurman are fringe belt holders against Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Bradley, Provodnikov, Floyd, and Manny. Hell I think the Ricky Hatton that fought Floyd beats all of Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, and Keith Thurman and probably TKOs Thurman based on his complete inability to take a body shot.

I always felt that as well, after 2015 the welterweight division stunk to me. Thurman,Garcia,Porter we’re never special in my eyes. Fights like Thurman-Porter, Thurman-Garcia, Garcia-Porter were just decent fights from decent fighters. None of those fights were memorable, your not going to waste your time rewatching them and that was supposedly PBC huge mega fights. Spence-Porter looked sloppy as hell.

Pacquiao wins huge upset but Spence is no great fighter. He needs to knockout Pacquiao to make a statement

You're acting like Spence fighting for his first title out of the country like it's a big deal. It isn't. Especially against Brook, who has one good win. I'm laughing at you. Your knowledge of boxing humors me. Spence barely beat Porter. Nobody thinks Porter is a great fighter. Spence is a PBC level champ. He should be able to beat a 42 year old, but looking at who he has fought, maybe not.

Because your justification makes no sense, that's why. Not all fighters in their 40's today are competing and winning at the highest levels. Just the special ones. I love the Fab 4, but none of them, not even Duran, competed at the top level of the sport as consistently and for as long as Pac. I'm not even a Pac fan and I can say that. As I said earlier, the fights you mention as being greater achievements were supposed to be competitive.

In your earlier message you stated that context was important in your assessment, then you mentioned the fallacy that Duran had to come up two weight classes to challenge SRL at WW. The fact that you were summarily corrected about that false context didn't change a thing for you, so context doesn't really matter to you.

Imagine Sugar Ray Leonard beating Hector Camacho. Or Chavez Sr. beating Oscar De La Hoya.

An old ATG with one foot out of the door beating the young ATG caliber man in his prime.

Would be one of the greatest wins in boxing history and the biggest embarrassment ever as well.

I don't know how you damage control that for Spence. He's not young enough to kick-start like Canelo was. Look at Thurman for example. He still hasn't fought since and is completely, utterly, irrelevant in boxing now.

The only problem I have with this fight is it goes the distance, Pac-Man is going to get robbed. Does anyone actually believe that PBC is going to allow their biggest future investment star to lose on the cards just ask Castano about that 117-111 scorecard. Especially wen Pac-Man has mentioned retirement after this fight. May the best man win, that’s how it should be
