I know this hurts for you to hear considering the fact that you’re a stage 5 ball clinger of Canelo’s but HE was the one who didn’t sign because of an outrageous demand he made. I’m not sure why Canelo keeps Hearn around….Canelo has showed that he doesn’t even need Hearn. The biggest payday of canelos xareer will come from FOX/PBC and al Haymon. Canelo will certainly make more of a haul based on back end money, PPV percentages, sponsors etc. With it being on FOX and actually accessible to the American public in what is sure to have excellent shoulder programming, the fight is a guaranteed success for all involved.
Hearn really he the lion of a groupie or hanger on….it must have something to do with European talent that Hearn has fed Canelo for easy big paydays

Maybe I am seeing this wrong, but it seems to me that unless becoming undisputed somehow would allow us to consolidate the belts, it does the fans no good at all. Why should we care about undisputed? I see it as a bit of selfishness that a fight is going to be made that is not the best fight because a fighter wants to have all of the belts. Legacy should be born from awesome scraps and not material collections.
Again, I say maybe I am seeing this wrong. I say that to try and curb the commenters that want to say mean things about me. It is always humble opinions!

It comes down to Canelo’s team not trusting Haymon. They know Al doesn’t want to lose a title to a non PBC fighter.
Canelo’s team was doing the right thing, protecting their fighter. They didn’t want to sign to fight Plant then have him fake an injury or illness then Haymon tries to give Canelo another opponent for short money.
Canelo fought to get away from Golden Boy so that he can dictate his own career himself. If they wanted that protection then they may have gotten wind of some potential shady **** from Al.
Plant’s not even as good as BJS. He had the last title Canelo wants but other than that he’s a stay busy fight.
