I’d be very surprised if it doesn’t happen looking at the figures being branded about.

-Canelo is being offered a 40m guarantee to fight a guy the vast majority of us expect him to beat comfortably.

-Plant is being offered 10m, which is likely far more than he’ll ever earn against anyone else.

So that’s a lot of money both guys are leaving on the table if they don’t work something out and get this fight back on.
man I'm sure Heiland, and Binavidez took that way less coming in on 1 leg

Fight is stalled because PBC don't want Eddie to get paid...they want him off the bill entirely.
Yeah thats what i got from this too. Lol it was funny he keeps saying "im team canelo Alvarez " and that hes not part of negotiations. Like wtf is his role?

            Canelo & Haymon?
            Keep on dreaming...

Now, the problem is that all fights held at a indoor arena in Vegas has always had a standard 20x20, all big fights have had this size. I'm not going to blame either side, but I will say that the Alvarez camp are the ones who have been looking for this fight since last year, and Plant has been pushing this fight off, so believe who ever you want, but imo PBC are the ones probably holding this fight hostage.
That's very interesting and certainly paints a much different picture than what Plant stated. Do you have a link or anything for that Yahoo story?

Anything can happen but doubtful in my opinion. Canelo chaffed at the control GBP had over him with that contract. I think the reason why he keeps Eddie around (on an informal fight by fight basis) is that Hearn seems content just to be associated as Canelo's promoter because it gives him more clout and opportunity to talk (and he loves that).

Sounds like Eddie has no idea what’s going on and just throwing sh1 t out there to see what sticks because he not involved with making the fight

Plant should consider fighting his next mandatory Zach Parker. That would be a low profile but worthy one to showcase or improve Plant' talent and marketability...

Hopefully the Plant fight never gets made that fight is waste of time garbage. Bivol Golovkin Andrade Gilberto Ramirez are real fights.
