Comments Thread For: John Fury: Usyk is Too Small, Joshua Will Walk Straight Through Him

I think Peter Fury is trying to undermine AJ's next oponent in Usyk and in the same time describe AJ as cherry picker. (Fury looked out of shape recently)

The reality is Usyk used to fight in Heavies in the Olympics. He's fought Joe Joyce and has defeated many former Champions in the world of Boxing.

He also sparred with Vladimir and the rumors say, he made him look average.

It's a 50/50 fight and I see it ending in a draw or points victory for one of the boxers.

Sparring a old WLAD means nothing. You certainly need to learn about John fury if that’s what you think. I’d love you to show me these pics where fury looks “out of shape”. Make sure you compare that to his fighting shape aswell. So please show me and prove me wrong!!

This pretty much the 3rd best fight match-room & Joshua could make.

Now I don't rate Uysk very highly, but? He is unbeaten, an Olympic Champion and Undisputed Cruiser weight Champion.

Apart from Deontay Wilder 'Which was a great win', Fury seems to face fighters with a lack of credentials.

If Usyk can develop enough HW power, he has a chance. He wont outpower a real HW in Joshua so he needs that power to complement his mobility and skills.

They can discredit this fight all they want. Boxing fans know it's a real fight.

I'm a fan of both guys. I see this as pretty defining. Usyk is elite with heavyweight question marks. Joshua is elite with movement/chin question marks.

If I were Joshua this isn't a fight I'd pick. He's fast against the big heavies, but he won't outbox Usyk technically.

            I think it's a ripper of a matchup. Can't wait.

I have to disagree with big john. Usyk imo is the best opponent aj ever faced. WK was better in his prime but not when he faced AJ. And Ruiz is good but constantly out of shape.

I hate this too small crap. Cunningham gave fury problems. Usyk is better than cunningham.
you don't know who will trouble Josh until in ring. On paper usyk gives Josh problems to solve.
Pac stepped up 8 divisions, you telling me usyk can't step up one?

Usyk isn't too small physically. He might not have enough power and finesse for the top two, Joshua and Fury.

An outstanding cruiserweight, but not that impressive in his two heavyweight fights thus far, certainly not Holyfield level.

He's been feeling his way into division. You can judg e him after Josh fight. If he beats josh then you can maybe compare to real deal holyfield
