Intersting thing about Usyk as a threat for Joshua is that Joshua is now only about a stone heavier than him. Usyk isn’t as small as everyone makes him, he’s somewhere north of 230lbs. Not sure his power is significantly less than Ruiz’ however I do think Ruiz has faster hands. It would seem Usyk would want to jab and move and counter with the overhand right. I’m curious how his chin will hold out against the big punching Joshua but I conjecture that if Parker could deal with it than Usyk certainly can

I would imagine if Usyk wins then they have a rematch. It seems like that would be a worst case scenario, but it would take AJ out of the running for a lot of people in the best HW discussion. We need a ruler right now and boxing needs it too!

the joshua/usyk winner isnt going anywhere near joyce, because they know joe beats them. they are freezing him out next couple of years until he slows down. unfortunately in boxing the top fighters can pretty much chose who they want and when they see joe coming up just demolishing everyone put in front of him, beating the best prospect in the division without getting out of 2nd gear its 'thanks but no thanks' when that fight gets offered to them. people can bring up usyk beating him in amateurs but joe is a real rolls royce of a heavyweight now, a completely different type of fighter

Joyce needs to do something, because the Takam fight is not good enough.

His next fight after Takam, needs to be a big fight. People for sure freezing him out of contention.
