How come Haymonites are now worried about this fight? Imagine if Plant doesn’t fight Canelo nor Benavidez anytime soon. How will NSB be posters justify Plant’s fights?

Even if it was lower than he wants then take the money, beat Canelo then call your own shot. Again these guys all talk tough then hide behind Haymon. They are afraid to chase greatness. This new breed of fighters are just looking to cash out without earning it.
Canelo makes what he makes because he’s taken chances in his career these other fighters won’t. He risked a Floyd fight by fighting undefeated Trout coming off a win against Cotto. He fought Lara knowing he had a boring style and was going to be an ugly fight. He was the underdog against GGG. These guys get a paper title and then act like they run ****. Can’t respect that bs.

Canelo has gotten into his share of money disputes himself when he felt he deserved more money (including in some of the fights you mentioned above) and like I said, damn near every recent canelo opponent had turned down an initial offer. They all ended up with the fight eventually. So it’s business. By your logic, ggg should’ve accepted a flat fee of 10 mil that he was offered initially against canelo because it was more than he ever made. He didn’t fall for the lowball and ended up making over 20 mil. You guys just want boxers to bow at Canelo’s feet and jump at anything they get offered without knowing any specifics. Then get pissy that they fight for the money they feel they deserve just like everyone else in the world does.
He reportedly wanted $10 million guaranteed despite making $500k in his last fight and is not a draw. If it’s just posture for negotiating that’s fine but these guys talk tough then when it comes time to get it done they act like they have any leverage. I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t happen. We know Haymon doesn’t like his guys to lose their titles to non in house fighters.

Like usual, they're the ones that slow boxing down, don't make unifications and try to protect all of their black fighters and occasional w.iggers.
