You mean by pounding Wilder to oblivion? Wilder who lost because of the suit he chose to wear, his trainer betrayed him, his water was drugged, Fury cheated with his gloves? It just goes on and on. He got his ass kicked. And he's going to get it kicked again and that is the end of him. *zot* disappearing into the sunset.

I even saw those claims with Tank before he fought Walsh. Also here is where memory becomes clouded and legend takes over from reality. Lacy was never looked at as the second coming of Ali. In fact an over the hill well on the slide Roy Jones also beat him. I was not surprised that Joe slapped him around, Lacy was overly muscular and Joe’s stamina was piston like for 12 rounds. For some reason that fight really stands out for British fans. I find it odd that Barkley isn’t used since Benn stopped him in one round. Or Curry, who Honeyghan picked apart at the seams and totally dismantled. Or Kevin Kelly who got stopped in 4 against Hamed after an extremely vocal press conference. I assure you, Barkley, Kelly, and Curry were more highly regarded with the American sports than than Lacey who was virtually unknown. Ask the average American sports fan if he even had heard of Jeff Lacy and you may get a 1% positive return rate.
but hey, I don’t expect to stop seeing British boxing fans use that term. It’s certainly become a well used phrase back home. I just wonder why Lacy was so much more revered in the U.K. before than fight when no one cared about him in the USA. He came along in the shadow of what had been the Roy Jones era at middleweight to light heavy.

Lol what a bizarre story. Anyway yeah you would've been on a deployment somewhere with your fellow NCOs I assume but I was at the Calzaghe-Kessler fight and in hindsight it was a rock solid performance by Calzaghe and perhaps his best win all told.
One thing though, if you have been watching boxing since Ali fought, that means you had been deployed at around 55-60 years old in 2006 when Calzaghe and Lacy fought? What age did you sign up?? God speed to you, never heard of a 60 year old being on overseas deployment as an NCO...

Deonty the real racist ... "to this day". I doubt he can read, but if you can, checknout the history of slavery. That business is color blind, it recognizes no color. Because of ***** and Hillery, today in Libya I can by any color: white, black, green for $100. You Deontay are ignorant.eco1 likes this.

All he had to do was say he didn't train well, or whatever. These excuses making him look so bad-

You watch the discussion of Ali, Frazier, etc.. back in the day. These were honorable men. 10 thousand times the man that Wilder is. If they lost, they owned up to it. Wilder is just a huge crybaby. WTF, if I were his mom I wouldn't even tell anyone. This is what a "hero" has become?
