I thought it would be a blowout and while the official cards may have indicated that...it was still a war. I am not a fan of Charlo but I think it was a different Montiel in there. I give Charlo credit for biting down on his gumshield and getting thru with it. Think he needs to go to 168, and I've noticed last two fights that he gets hurt very visibly by shots to body.

At the age of 31 its safe to say weve seen the best of Charlo. And its not very impressive. He is a B level fighter.

Fun and entertaining fight. Both guys landed some hard shots and both guys were hurt. The right guy won wide on the core cards but make no mistake , this was a real battle.

GGG beats charlo no problem. But he beats pillow fisted Andrade. He doesn’t survive all 12 against Canelo. Canelo stops him.

Montiel fought well in the second half of the fight. Much better than I expected ... But Hit Man dominated the whole fight

Mall Wide but credit to Montiel people complain when Mexican Fighters get picked for these fight but this is why...THEY COME TO FIGHT!

Mall showed Vulnerability though, cutting weight will hurt your Stamina and I think you seen that. Also too, Mall gets hurt to the body, Derevyenchenko hurt him to the body as well so yeah he got work to do maybe that is why he is not in a rush for bigger fights also even though he is a huge 160, his Power is not as devastating as it was at 154 so that could also explain why he is hesitant to move up to 168

More Credit goes to Montiel for me who came not to ****ing Laydown but instead came to fight and try to pull the upset especially late in the fight in which he hurt Mall. Mall is good BUT it is Flaws for sure but styles make fights so I would rather see Charlo vs GGG, Munguia, Canelo, Andrade and all these guys fans think can beat him now instead of just assuming what would happen.

WBC will likely order the Munguia fight despite him saying he wants Rosado, I think Munguia should take that fight no excuses
