Of course he would be. Bryan better sell that belt to the highest bidder soon.

Pointless fight. What is Warren doing with this kid, bring on guys like Wach, Hammer, Takam, Hughie. Kid needs rounds, not easy KO wins.

Warren will feed him with bums and throw him to the wolves again.

Yeah Dinu was pointless but maybe at least helped him get his confidence back. I don't agree with much you say usually but this is almost impossible to argue.

This is spot on , durable fighters that would give him rounds .

If Warren was to get the Bryan fight, then look to move Dubois along properly with some well-managed tests and build momentum and skills at the same time I think this is a shrewd move... My worry though is what others have said here, that Warren will get him a ridiculous "title" and then feed him bums to pad his record until he can cash him out.

People love to hate Hearn, but you cannot fault the way his stable and platform allows him to build fighters profiles and bring them along properly...

I see no change in Dubois unfortunately. He desperately needs to develop head movement, bending at the waist in order to load up on shots etc. Right now, he is still the slow, ponderous, too upright fighter that will be beaten by a hundred Joe Joyces - and Joyce isn't even elite level. What needs to be done is to take DDD out away from the pressure of expectation, instill in him head movement, bending, slipping, ducking, weaving with footwork so he can get inside the taller fighters(after all he only 23). He's just not cut out to be an outside boxer puncher.
Am I the only one who can see that? He's not fast enough, nor does he have the footwork to be a boxer. His best style is obviously as a pressure fighter, swarmer. FFS if he could be taught the skills he would go a lot further than he will as he is. He claims he wants Joyce in a rematch - what is he going to do differently? It's frustrating seeing a great prospect being mishandled.
