Ok we fans can say oh Timothy can't hit for **** but hell what you can't see you can't catch. And speed kills, that is what Timothy brings into the ring.

The fact that Nate didn't want to continue after that headbutt is not his fault, but Bradley's. Everyone knows that when you are fighting Bradley you have to watch his head, Holt said it, Nate experienced it.

So now why does Timothy not want to fight Nate?
i've boxed. nothing on the pro level or organized amateur level though.

did he have blood spots in his eye?

i just remember him telling the ref he can't see because he sees spots.

seeing spots is normal when you get hit in the head a few times (or in this case a hard headbutt)

did the doctor see anything in his eye that would make him stop the fight? i know they stopped it because nate said to stop it. he wanted to stop the moment he started going back to his corner.

he even started arguing with his corner because they told him he was fine.

no one knows for sure if he could have continued or not. just my opinion.

if that was me and there really was a serious injury that prevented me from seeing? i would want medical attention IMMEDIATELY. i wouldn't hang around the ring complaining and doing interviews.

i didn't see that post. sorry.

it's just annoying when people sees/read things and then automatically start saying this is the reason this guy will lose or why this guy would win.

a lot of these guys are making something big out of nothing.

the guy trains 8 weeks for every fight. now he's gonna lose because he doesn't start training 10 weeks?

watch after the weigh in. you'll have some guys posting threads about how one guy will lose because of the staredown.

“First of all, I want to let everyone know that I am OK. There is no permanent damage to my retina. I was taken from ringside to the hospital, and was treated for what they called a vitreous hemorrhage behind my left eye. The ophthalmologist that treated me at the hospital advised me that the impairment to the vision in my left eye should clear up completely within a few days to a week at most. Never in my career have I had an injury like this where I simply couldnt see out of an eye. I’ve had cuts 100 times worse than this that I fought through, and would have done the same in this instance, however this was something different. This was not something my cutman could have dealt with.
He was legitimately impaired. The way he reacted when he went back to the corner was a different story though.

          fight news.

Vitreous hemorrhage, or bleed, results in a sudden change in vision as it blocks light moving through the vitreous to the retina. This hemorrhage specifically occurs in front of the retina in the posterior section of the eye.

The vitreous hemorrhage may be the result of an aneurysm of a blood vessel in the eye, trauma to the eye, a retinal tear, a retinal detachment, a new blood vessel (neovascularization) or as a result of another underlying disease state.
Someone experiencing a vitreous hemorrhage may experience one or more of the following symptoms:

                ?sudden onset of blurry vision
                ?light flashes
?floaters (spots seemingly floating across the field of vision)
                ?blindness

Seems pretty serious, I just didn't like the way he reacted when he went back to his corner but his vision was definitely impaired.

If Pac wants to devote his time to guest appearances and the like then he needs a guy like Koncz, maybe. If he wants to continue being at the top of his 'day job',then he needs a guy like Roach.

If Manny thinks he has just gotta turn up, then he is in for a brutally rude awakening. I think he can and will beat Cotto, but in order to do that he will have to be at his very best. Anything less wont be enough.

i take it back then if it's true.

i was just going off of how he looked and acted.

                    he seemed fine to me.

                      10 weeks!

                      8 weeks!

the first number is how far away the fight is.

the second number is how long his training camps are normally.
