I thought Taylor won by a larger margin that the judges did, I felt he was up on rounds.

He's cleaned out the division now. The Prograis and Ramirez wins were great wins and I imagine he'll be on most P4P lists now.

To be honest i dont think he will be. Ramirez has never really impressed me to be honest and he hasnt got a great resume but its not exactly weak.
Josh needs a big name now and then i believe he will be. It is a shame that he isnt at the moment but 140lbs doesnt seem like a deep division at the moment.

Yes, he did. I thought Josh Taylor boxed just beautifully. Ramirez was trying his best to engage in drawing Taylor into some exchanges by trading punches with him but he refused to bite the bait. He kept his poise and stayed with the game plan by out boxing Ramirez. Ramirez was never able to launch an effective offensive against Taylor for the entire bout because each time he attempted to Josh would effectively stick and move, smother and tie him up on the inside.

Solid fight and finally there is no controversy with the scoring. The 114-112 was pretty spot on. You can make an argument for 115-111 but the right guy got the nod and all three judges agreed instead of the usual where one (clown) judge who scores it totally off base. Cong**** to Taylor! Good win!

I had my doubts about Ramirez condition and discipline when I seen him drunk on the 'Snow Queen' Youtube channel, a few months ago, but you kept reminding me of how Taylor was constantly struggling to make the jr. welterweight limit, and that he would be to weak in the later rounds to defend himself from Ramirez relentless offense. THANKS A LOT!

And just to prove that I'm not salty like you Richard, I'm going to share the gifs of the knockdowns that occurred in the 6 & 7. Remember, own your losses like man, and maybe people will take you a little more serious, and actually respect what you have to say next time you voice your opinion.
Not true. I never tried to convince you of anything, let alone Ramirez beating the crap out of Taylor. Nor the part about Taylor struggling with weight which was obvious when he made the proper 30-day weight so you need to find the guy who tried to convinced you of that, or to lose money by betting on Ramirez. You're the one who a month ago said Ramirez was going to hospitalize Taylor. You have dreamed that each opponent would beat Taylor and it didn't happen. The only thing you have been right about is that Taylor is a crappy person. But neither he nor any of the British boxing champs are Eurobums and if you ever want any respect here, you need to drop those hateful disparaging names. No one who makes it to the top 1% of the sport should EVER be called a bum, especially by someone who isn't even in the top 5,000 in the world at what they do for a living like you. But if you had asked me who I would have picked before the fight I would have said it is a 50/50 with a slight edge to Taylor mainly because of Ramirez' fighting heart.

That's what Arum wants too! That would be good for Teo, but he's been complaining about making 135 since 2019. If Taylor does move up, maybe Teo can fight Ramirez for a title @ 140? Honestly, I'd prefer Teo to fight Tank @ 140, IF HE BEATS BARRIOS. If they can make WIlder vs. Fury x 3, they should be able to make Tank vs. Teo too! Haney vs. KingRy should be very easy to make @ 135!

I did not want to expose you richardt, but you dropped my name first. Did I go around blaming you for this bad-pick? No. I think it was pretty low of you to deflect from your bad pick by using me as a scape-goat, I got enough ridicule thanks to you. I dont know why you get so upset about the unflattering terms that I use to express my disapproval of certain cheats and unskilled boxers , as if I'm talking to you directly.

I suggest you stop considering yourself as some kind of moderator, the boxingscene did away with those tyrants, that was the best thing about this 'downgrade'. Remember, you are no authority and I do not care about what you think!

You're the one who a month ago told people to be prepared to be shocked about Taylor losing his titles on the scale. And you said Ramirez was going to hospitalize Taylor which is what you do as a drama queen. You have only yourself to blame for all your outlandish remarks. No one else. I'm not the maker of your pain, you are. I have no problem with someone making a "bad-pick" but you go way beyond just that.

It was funny that some people were saying Taylor would lose because he had a tough close fight with Prograis - er... that's exactly why he should win. Those fights are learning fights. You don't get anything from knocking over bums - just ask Deontay Wilder.

I didn’t catch the opening rds, but I saw most of it at the casino.

It looked to me like Taylor controlled much of the action, but Ramirez had his moments here and there. KD’s were big and Ramirez was hurt for sure, but he recovered well and definitely won some of the last rds and had Taylor hurt a few times late. I think Ramirez’s come forward attitude and style was taking its toll on Taylor late, even though Taylor didn’t take too much punishment, Ramirez had Taylor thinking defense too much and Taylor was scoring less.

Looked close, but the right man won.

Does Taylor move up? Or does one of the undefeated guys from Lightweight move up and take on Taylor?

WOW! What is next? go ahead and deny that you picked Jose Ramirez. We spoke about Taylors struggle to make weight, its been well documented. We addressed Josh defensive flaws and the many injuries hes suffered in notable fights, including this one. Why are you trying so hard to make me look bad here?

Admit it, you had little confidence in Josh Taylor but secretly wanted Taylor to win. I also suspect that you enjoy all his degenerate behavior ; I even think you even liked all of Billy Joe Saunders disgraceful antics and ducking. I'm beginning to see you for what you really are, a passive aggressive politically correct snob. Hell you might be even celebrating this 'loss' , thats how much of a weirdo you are.
