and by the way, Roy could have never won a title at LW.

      Roy didn't quit?

I guess he forgot the third bout with Tarver where he didn't even try to win.

That is basically the same thing.

No it's not. Because Roy and his fans said so.

To be honest I reckon Roy has taken Oscar's comments in the wrong way. EVERYONE on this board knows that Roy Jones is past it and close to being shot, the fight with Joe Calzaghe showed it. So if we can talk about Roy Jones being on decline, why can't Oscar? It's not like he out right dissed him, just said he shouldn't be fighting anymore..which he probably shouldn't. He's done what he needed to do, beat some of the best, he can hold his head high and say he was the best. Thing he's letting this get too personal.

Kind of a good shot at Oscar, lol a stinger at that. Seriously, quitting against Paq wasn't a good look at all. He should have planned to make 147 and regain his weight in a strong and healthy fashion, instead of trying to make it a more fair fight by coming in soo light. I think he did that cause if he came in big and strong and just tore through Paq...lol People would take that victory away from him as easy as he would have gotten it.

              Roy just ought to stfu

Even against Tarver and Joe he never took the amount of punishment Oscar did against Pacquiao
Oscar is right, Roy's a washed up fighter who can only look good infront of tomato cans like Jeff Lacy

De la Hoya will always be involved in boxing with his promoting and also have his music and other crap while Roy only has boxing that's why he continues to fight to try and stay relevant.

                "I ain't quit"
Anyone else see a problem with this?

Roy is right. I like DLH but he went out on a very sour note and did not have enough self respect to even take a lesser name on go out on a win, he let his career fizzle out and everyone has the image of him getting his ass whooped by Pac.
