If you have a guy that seems to never get tired, then the big ring won't affect him.

If you have a guy that likes to box in and out and move, then the big ring suits him.

If you have a guy that likes to fight up close and punch a guy to the guts while he is pressed in the ropes, then the big ring doesn't suit him.

If you have a guy that back peddles when he gets tired then the big ring helps him.

It will help Cotto and Manny move when they need to but not allow Cotto to work Pacquiao over against the ropes. I don't see anything wrong with a bigger ring. If Cotto wanted a small ring why not say something? The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

You guys talk a lot of ****! We know Cotto is the bigger and the stronger. We know that Pacquiao is the smaller and the faster guy. And we know that Cotto has the power to knock Pacquiao out. No doubt about it.

Pacquiao speaks for himself, 65-35 purse split, 145 catch-weight limit, 24 ft. ring... You guys better respect the man for fighting an elite WW. You'll only see this very often, fighting 5 consecutive different weight division for only less than 2 years.

i washed up de la hoya, mind you that steve forbes tagged up his face, lol come on i think manny would of beat de la hoya at 150, he's washed up, it was just another big payday for de la hoya when i herd the fight was made, i was disappointed, fights like cotto and pacman is what boxing is all about, thats why i have much respect for cotto, and lil respect for manny for being a lil ***** and having his lawyer complaining for everything, but his accomplishments is what made him the fighter he is, its going to be a hell of a fight

Big ring for the posibilities of getting caught on the ropes is minimized. Its where Cotto can do most of the damage. Manny is an in and out fighter with a herky jerky upper body movement, it has improved with Roach and he hasn't been hit so much like the past. Manny's chin is not suspect but he doesn't fight backing up. Don't remember a ring this big even on heavyweight fights.
