    Naseem Hamed Reveals The "Real Reason" He Retired

    Former champion and British legend, Prince Naseem Hamed, has finally revealed the truth behind his decision to walk away from boxing seven years ago. Hamed appeared on BBC Radio Five Live's Sportsweek and discussed the reason why he walked away from the sport.       Hamed was the man. Retire in honor my man. This man made more money than most fighters dreamed of.

        why was he so ashamed to reveal this in the last 7 years?? i mean he could still have fought with feather fisted hands.. i mean juan diaz... joan guzman.. many pillow punchers dat have plenty of skill r out thier.. he should have continued. but then agian he said his hands hurt.. nd he couldnt take it

          Understandable his hands kept breaking concidering how hard he hit. If only he could have lasted 3 more years.
          Morales, JMM, Pac - would have been great fights.

            Ummm. Hamed was known strictly for his insane power. The man was the hardest P4P puncher of his time, and it would be ridiculous for a murderous puncher to have to fight with low power.

              I always thought it was something to do with 9/11 and how he used to push his ****** faith and that **** wasn't very cool after the attacks.

                He would have KOed the 1 D 126 pound Pac IMO. Hamed was one not to be ****ed with while he was in his prime.

                  Didn't Foreman say sumthin bout Hamed havin knuckle problems in the MAB fight? I ain't too surprised by this, tho why he waited this long to speak on it is odd.
