Navarette/ Diaz is a small fight with a tiny fanbase finding one fight that doesn't draw doesn't support your point and you still continue to use youtube as some metric of success Streetfights on Youtube also have huge amounts of views so the **** what? does that mean backyard fighting is bigger than MMA lol you are really a deluded mentally deficient dunce aren't you?

Oh and btw, dont you think its funny how you're trying to construct this narrative that boxing has this huge global fanbase that for some reason doesnt manifest at all in YT views, social media numbers etc so you can dismiss that those numbers consistently suggest MMA is more popular, and yet when actual needle mover boxing stuff like these Paul fights, Fury/Wilder, Canelo/GGG, AJ/Ruiz etc happen all of a sudden as if by magic it actually DOES do big numbers on those exact same platforms? as though all those boxing fans around the world figured out how to use the internet for a day.

Btw remember that Navarette press conference with 115 viewers live earlier? this UFC press conference hasnt even started yet and its already at over 30k viewers. Both of those fights are ESPN fights in America too. Another blatantly obvious indicator of where things are at that you will no doubt find a way to dismiss.

Edit: over 100k now, just to watch a pre fight press conference live. And dude is still deluding himself that the UFC isnt by far the biggest combat sports organisation on the planet lol.

When did you last see a card like that in boxing?

''Boxing is the 2nd most popular sport in the world among young people, according to research from GWI. In a series that charts the growth of today's sporting markets, boxing came second, thanks largely to a boost in interest and an engagement among young adults who are increasingly following the sport in large numbers''

Never, I don't think Boxing ever focused on the cards outside the main fright of the night. Even Ali's mega fights that had a billion viewers had crap fighters on the undercards look it up.

Navarrette vs Diaz was better than anything on the UFC card tonight I'd bet.

LOL at MMA being done. MMA is the single reason why the US Ammy boxing program is in shambles. MMA Globally is outpacing Futbol in growth. Keep thinking that its dying thou.

I love boxing as a sport but i am a fight fan thru and thru. I'll watch K1,MMA Boxing Gi or no GI juijitsu even judo. Freestyle or Greco Wrestling in spurts, really depends on what tourney.

Now **** I wonder which of those two is the more reliable way of gauging popularity? why would an allegedly far more popular global sport (according to your hard to track metrics like international tv viewers) never have that reflected in ANY easily trackable online numbers?

You also still havent explained why British YT channel BT Sport is getting good numbers for UFC content? or why the UFCs Russian, Brazillian and Spanish language channels do good numbers? or why the UFC is touring the world constantly? or why it has a globally released video game from a major publisher? None of this fits your claim that MMA is only popular in America does it?
Have you mention that promotion like ONEFC etc are even keeping the UFC from fully taking over Asian because of their size as well.

If any of you don’t like ufc and missed the card tonight, I feel sorry for you. I was watching the UFC card and trying to watch the Navarrete fight at the same time, but that card seriously was t worthy of all my attention. And next week another ****ty POV card.

You’re insane lol. Because neither Navarrete or Diaz are top 5 , let alone top 3 in their division. Show me one boxing card the past 5 years in which 3 fights had the top champion in the division fighting two #1 top contenders(not bs mandatories, but the top in the division) and a top 5 contender. No way does Arum , Haymon, Dazn or DLH allow this to happen. They would simply milk the public by having their champions each headline their own bs cards against hopeless mandatories.

                      imagine getting a card with

                      Shields vs Marshall
                      charlo vs Hurd
                      Beterbiev vs Bivol

add in a fight between 2 top 10 guys like nakatsni vs Luke Campbell.

rhis is what the UFC card was tonight.
